The fact is that in the fall of a person there is a seasonal decline in the thyroid gland, therefore almost all people (even those who are not inclined to fattening) suddenly appear fat. In the autumn, the light day decreases rapidly, and in the dark the thyroid gland is "used" to rest, thereby lowering the production of its wonderful hormones, which help increase metabolism, enhance oxidative reactions in cells, and do not allow fat stores to be deposited in your body. Among other things, these magic hormones contribute to the stimulation of the nervous system, and if they are not enough, the person becomes sluggish and lazy, so doing exercises simply does not have the strength, and often, time.

What is the essence of the autumn diet for 5 days?

Autumn and winter are periods for the thyroid gland, when the need for iodine is greatly increased, but this does not mean that you need to run to the pharmacy and buy iodine-containing drugs! Do not forget that before applying any medications you need to get advice from your doctor. In the meantime, you can pay attention to food that contains a sufficient amount of iodine, it is always available and, notice, harmless.

The very first iodine-containing product in this list will be marine fish (flounder, haddock, sea bass and cod). If you make 2-3 fish days in the week menu, then you can not remember the iodine deficiency in the body. Seaweed (in particular, sea kale) is the next product containing an excellent combination of iodine, macro and microelements, vitamins and other biologically active substances that help to reduce weight, resist cellulite and maintain a general physical state in tone. And the periodic use of salads from sea kale does not allow the evil cold wind to dry your skin and cover it with fine wrinkles. For such salads, it is best to choose fresh-frozen sea kale or pickled (canned). Salad "Autumn", the recipe of which you will see below, is ideal for this case:

200-300 g of thawed cabbage pour steep boiling water and insist 5 minutes. Then throw the sea cabbage into a colander and chop it up finely. Raw or cooked beets are grated on a large grater, onion (1 pc.) Finely chopped. Mix all ingredients, add lemon juice or apple cider vinegar (1-2 tablespoons), infuse for 10-15 minutes. Salt, vegetable oil or sour cream can be used at your discretion.

In the absence of beets, it can be replaced with carrots, celery roots, beans or boiled potatoes, and salad cucumber and herbs can also be added to the salad. Salad "Autumn" is very useful for those who struggle with excess fat - eat at dinner a large plate of this salad without bread.

How to maintain weight?

The consumption of bakery, confectionery, macaroni and cereals in the autumn-winter period should be considerably limited, since they contain 1/3 carbohydrates, which the weakened organism translates into unnecessary fatty deposits. It is best to use these products only in the morning and in the afternoon, but a plate of porridge or a couple of pieces of bread, which you eat at dinner, will add 2-4 kg to your weight in the spring.

If you plan potatoes for dinner (and it is also rich in carbohydrates), it's better to bake it in a peel or boil it in a uniform.

Sweets will replace a simple jam of fruits of feijoa with honey (1: 1) and crushed walnuts (150 grams per 1 kg of ready-made jam).
