Spicy drink from dried fruits With the advent of autumn, the desire to leave on a cool evening all the worries, turn into a warm blanket, and, watching the sunset, keep something warm, fragrant and warming in the hands. For these purposes, the ideal drink is a drink from dried fruits with a variety of spices: ginger, cardamom, cloves and an asterisk. This drink is a worthy non-alcoholic substitute for mulled wine, besides it is also very useful.
Ingredients:- Dried figs 250 g
- Apple 2 pcs.
- Prunes 50g
- Light raisins 250 g
- Water 1500 ml
- Ginger dry 10g
- Carnation 4 g
- Cardamom 4 g
- Badyan (star anise) 1 star
- Orange 1 pc.
- Step 1 Preparation of the drink for a drink, take an orange, apples, raisins, prunes, figs and spices: cardamom, anise, cloves, ginger (ground or fresh).
- Step 2 Peel the apples from the peel and the core and cut into cubes of medium size.
- Step 3 Dry the dried fruits and chop finely. Raisins should be suppressed in a mortar or spoon.
- Step 4 Place the dried fruits, apples and spices in a frying pan, pour in enough water to cover the dried fruit and put it on a slow fire for about 20 minutes.
- Step 5 Then add the necessary amount of water and bring to a boil.
- Step 6 Next, flush the dried fruit on a strainer. Do not forget to put a container under the sieve!
- Step 7 Squeeze the juice from 1 orange and add it to the ready hot drink.
- Step 8 The finished drink is best to drink hot.
