Baby-yoga from birth to eight weeks: exercises for hip joints

This set of exercises corresponds to the basic complex of hatha yoga, which is aimed at opening the femoral and knee joints, developing deep muscles around the base of the spine, which tones up and strengthens the life force of the person, releases energy.


Flexibility of the joints of the baby is often not the same (the left may be for some reason more mobile than the right one and vice versa), so be careful not to be cautious.

The complex takes from five to ten minutes. The kid can get tired by the end of the lessons or be ready to continue the exercises. Let him choose himself. At the end of the session, spend a deep relaxation.

Knees on the chest

This pose stimulates the work of the gastrointestinal tract and is called to normalize its peristalsis.

Take the child by the lower leg and bend his legs in the knees, leaving the last in a slightly spaced position (wider than the thighs). Tightly press the child's hands to its sides, just below the ribs.

Relieve pressure, then repeat pressing the legs in this way two or three times, slowly and completely relaxing before releasing your hands.

If the child is not comfortable and has a firm stomach, gently massage his stomach and chest and try to repeat the exercises later.

Knees aside

This posture slightly bends the spine at its base.

Take the baby by the shins, connect the bent knees of the child and move them to the sides (first to the left, then to the right).

In this case, as in the previous exercise, tightly press the kollein (now combined together) to its sides, alternately, first to the right, then to the left.

"A bike"

This exercise works well as a stretch.

Change the previous pose, taking turns pulling your knees to the breastplate and unbending them, stretching the child's legs with heels forward toward you, imitating the ride on the bike.

«Semi-lotus»

Holding the child in the foot, move the left foot to the right thigh so that the leg is in the position of half lotus. The heel to the hip is pressed very high, as far as the baby will get. Do not use force.

Next, return the left foot to its original position and repeat the same samayapinapulyatsii with the right.

"Butterfly"

Take the child's ankles with both hands and connect the soles of his feet. Push them lightly in this position to the stomach, without applying excessive force.

Thinning

Take the child by the ankles. Slightly pull them down, on yourself. Slowly repeat this movement two or three times; the child's eyes will close when you stretch the knee joints.

Do a dry massage if you did not do it before doing the exercises. Then you can proceed to the last exercise of the complex.

The first experiments of relaxation

Hold the child by the ankles, slightly lift his legs, while pulling them, then lower them down.

Repeat several times. Say "stretch" and "let go" in a cheerful tone to revive the exercise. Emphasize the contrast of the voice between "stretching" and "relaxation".

This exercise allows the child to understand the difference between "stretching" and "relaxation", combining them in one exercise.

Babies respond well to the comic expressions of adults and enjoy your changing facial expressions.

This stimulates the awakening of a sense of humor and often serves as the cause of the baby's first smile.

Soon after birth, the child begins to notice the differences between a serious and playful face. Use emotional contrast in your studies.
