1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees with a stand in the center. Lubricate the bread pan with oil and place it on a baking tray lined with two layers of baking sheets. Chop the chocolate. Grind bananas to a consistency of mashed potatoes. Sift together the flour, cocoa, baking powder, salt and soda. In a large bowl, whip the butter at medium speed for about 1 minute until soft. 2. Add sugar and whisk for 2 more minutes. Add eggs one at a time, whisking after each addition. Reduce the speed of the mixer and add the banana mashed potatoes. 3. Add the flour mixture in three batches and whip. Add buttermilk and whisk at low speed. Mix with chopped chocolate. 4. Pour the dough into the prepared form. Bake the bread for 30 minutes. Then cover the bread loosely with foil and continue baking for another 40-45 minutes (total baking time 70-75 minutes) or until the thin knife inserted into the center is clean. 5. Place the bread in the form on the rack and allow to cool for at least 20 minutes. Then remove from the mold and cool to room temperature. Cut into slices and serve.
