- flour - 1 cup
- sugar - 1/2 cup
- baking powder - 3/4 Teaspoons
- soda - 1/2 teaspoonfuls
- salt - To taste
- melted butter - 4 items. spoons
- buttermilk - 1/3 cup (or 1/2 cup ordinary yogurt)
- big egg - 1 piece
- large banana, puree - 1 piece (about 1/2 cup)
- extract of vanilla - 1 teaspoon
- chilled butter - 1 st. spoon
- brown sugar - 1 st. spoon
- Ground cinnamon - 3/4 Teaspoons (for the top)
- flour - 1 Art. spoon
- salt - To taste (for the top)
1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Lubricate the pan with a baking dish. 2. Mash in a bowl of a banana until the consistency of mashed potatoes, you should get about 1/2 cup. 3. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, soda and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Add the melted butter and buttermilk. Add the egg and whisk for 1 minute. 4. Add the banana puree and vanilla extract. Stir thoroughly. 5. Put the dough into the prepared bread mold, level the surface with a rubber spatula. 6. To make a sprinkle for the top, mix chilled butter with flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and a pinch of salt into chunks. 7. Sprinkle the mixture with the top of the bread. Bake bread in a preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, until the toothpick inserted in the center will not come out clean. 8. Allow to cool in a grate form for 10 minutes. Cut the bread into slices and serve.
