The young team in which Garik was a member did not have any money at all, and so they did not pay anything, they said they would give it back when they won. And it happened. The guys became champions and got 1000 dollars. And immediately almost all were given back - they returned the debt for contributions. And the remaining 200 dollars spent on the celebration of victory. It is not known how the fate of a young man would have developed, if not for KVN, where Garik had a great school. But he did not want to stay forever in the KVN, Garik wanted something new, his own. And so at some point Igor joined the Comedy Club team. This project became one of the most popular shows in the country, and Kharlamov became a star. The idea to create the project Comedy Club belonged to the KVN-Shchiks Artak Gasparyan, Artur Dzhanibekyan and Tash Sargsyan - the guys from the "New Armenians" team.
The young people decided that it was necessary to bring something fresh, add a new genre, as the KVN and the "sold-out" were already dilapidated and a little bored. The genre is called "stand-up comedy", the guys learned about it in the US, and for Russia it was a new and fresh stream. The first concerts were held in 2003. But the young people did not stop and did not give up, and eventually achieved their goal - they were accepted and loved.
