Biography of Yuri Nikulin

All of us from childhood know and remember Yuri Nikulin. For someone, he is a sad clown who once performed with Pencil. For someone - Balbes from a cheerful trinity. For someone - a dramatic actor. And someone remembers him in the club "White Parrot". But, in any case, this kind clown with sad eyes associates with us with something bright and kind.

Yuri's biography is very similar to the history of those who were born immediately after the revolution. Of course, the biography of Nikulin, like any man, began with the fact that he was born. And this wonderful man was born on December 18, 1921. Biography of Yuri Nikulin began in the city of Demidovo. He is in the Smolensk region.

In the biography of Yuri Nikulin, you could immediately notice the craving for acting. This is not surprising, because Yuri was born into a family of actors. His parents played in the theater, so from the very childhood Yuri was taken backstage. For Nikulin senior, this was not a problem. And for Yuri, going to the theater together with his parents brought only joy. That is why, perhaps, his biography was already outlined. For Yuri, it was fortunate to have something to play or sing. Of course, Father Nikulin enjoyed it. But the boy's assessments did not particularly make him happy, since Yura studied fairly well, although, of course, he could not be called a bad student. In 1925 his father got a job in the newspaper Izvestia. Therefore, the whole family moved to the capital and a new life began. But, in those years, even living in Moscow, it was impossible to be protected from adversity. Yuri was not lucky, and his biography includes such a terrible fact as participation in the war. The fact is that Nikulin was called in 1939. He served in anti-aircraft waxes near Leningrad. When the guy was laying the line of communication, he very much frostbitten his legs and so Nikulina was demobilized. But, when hostilities began, Nikulin returned to the front and served with everyone.

After the war, Yuri entered the clownery school on Tsvetnoy Boulevard. His father fully supported the choice of his son. He wanted Yuri to have a profession that would bring him happiness. In addition, the son wanted, in fact, to become an artist, and this could not but rejoice his father.

In fact, Nikulin really was a clown. In his life there were a lot of funny stories. But even to negative cases, he always treated with humor. Nikulin really knew how to laugh. Maybe that is why I so well mixed everyone around me, especially children. After all, children feel when the emotions are real and genuine and they never believe in a tense smile. And Nikulin loved and still loves. This man, who outwardly looked a bit stupid, always struck everyone with his open and vulnerable soul. Yuri Nikulin always clearly shared the game and life. He never started replaying in real life, but he could play completely different roles. Nikulin often played in a variety of genre scenes. It was thanks to one of them that the actor became acquainted with his beloved wife.

Of course, Nikulin began as a clown who performs at the circus arena. But, if most of the actors of this genre spend their whole lives only clowning, Nikulin has everything different. And it's not in a happy case, but in his talent and versatility. It is thanks to these qualities of this actor, Nikulin's filmography has more than forty films. And not all of them are comedic. Nikulin also has tragic ones, such as "Scarecrow" or "White Bim, Black Ear". Feature of the game Nikulin was that he never tried to seem better than he is, play pathos and pompous. His acting is simple, but so convincing that you can not even imagine that this character does not exist in real life. That is why everyone always sincerely laughed at the comedic roles of Nikulin, and then empathized and cried his tragic characters. Fortunately, Nikulin did not repeat the fate of many comedic actors. He did not become an actor of one role, as, for example, Alexander Demyanenko. Nikulin managed to try himself in a variety of roles and perform different roles.

But, nevertheless, much has played in his life is the comedy. In 1961, Nikulin starred in all his favorite film "The Dog Barbos and the unusual cross." It was then that Yuri became famous and together with Vitsinym and Morgunov turned into a symbol of Soviet comedy.

Then we saw the same trinity in many Soviet comedies. And by the way, it's worth noting that she would not have appeared in the "Caucasian Captive" if Gaydai had not made concessions. The fact is that the original script did not like Nikulin very much. He did not want to act in this film and Gaidai had to almost completely rewrite the script, if only Nikulin would stay in the film. As we now see, the picture has become very popular, and the cheerful trio, Coward, Balbes and Experienced have added to it all the necessary humor and color.

But, nevertheless, Nikulin always continued to be a clown. Whatever funny or tragic roles he did not play on the screen, for the actor the most important was always the circus. He really loved the arena, loved children's laughter and wanted circus culture to exist always. That is why, when in 1984 Nikulin became the director of the circus, he did his best to have another circus in the city. He managed to convince the Chairman of the Council of Ministers Ryzhkov that the city simply needed a large sum of money in order to have another circus on Tsvetnoy Boulevard. Several years passed and the new circus opened the doors to the audience. All this was the merit of Nikulin.

In the nineties Nikulin confused the audience not only in the circus, but also in his show. He led a humorous show "White Parrot Club"

He was loved and respected by everyone, from children to the elderly. But, unfortunately, death does not choose, depending on who and how he loves you. Yuri Nikulin had a sick heart. Therefore in 1997 he was no more. His circus work was continued by son Maxim. And all we can do with a smile and a sad melancholy to remember this beautiful, kind man and talented actor who made and makes to laugh sincerely more and more generations of spectators.
