Bread casserole Casserole is not for nothing called "kitchen orderly", really, there was something in small quantities from dinner, in the fridge there was a small piece of cheese or sausage, there is a little milk or yogurt ... a little savvy - and a new delicious dish is ready. Bread casseroles were especially popular in the Soviet times, when they bought bread in abundance, and it was stale. Now this is rarely observed, so for a delicious bread casserole it is necessary to dry the loaf, pre-cut into thick slices and left on a table under a paper napkin.
Ingredients:- Bread white 300 g
- Eggs chicken 5 pcs.
- Drinking yogurt 250 ml
- Yoghurt 125 ml
- Sugar 0.5 tbsp.
- Curd 200g
- Cherry frozen 150 g
- Cinnamon powder 1 tsp.
- Butter 30 g
- Step 1 For casseroles we need ingredients such as dried slices of white bread, natural and berry (cherry) yogurt, cherries (fresh or frozen), eggs, cottage cheese, sugar, cinnamon.
- Step 2 Whisk sugar with eggs.
- Step 3 Add the cottage cheese and both types of yogurt, continue to whisk until smooth.
- Step 4 White bread, stale or dried, cut into large cubes.
- Step 5 Transfer the pieces of bread to the egg yoghurt mass and mix.
- Step 6 Add the seedless cherries and cinnamon, stir. Frozen cherries must be defrozen beforehand and, if a lot of juice is allocated, add a teaspoon of starch.
- Step 7 Grease the baking mold, transfer the bread mass into it, cover it with film and put it in the fridge for at least 4 hours. You can make a preparation at night, and in the morning prepare a casserole for breakfast.
- Step 8 Put the mold in the oven, preheated to 180 ° C, and bake until blanch. Approximately it takes 40-50 minutes.
- Step 9 The casserole under the crust turns out to be very juicy, so we impose it, breaking off the pieces with a spoon. Before serving, water with berry syrup or sweet sauce.
