Calzone or Closed Pizza Calzone is an Italian pie, a closed pizza. When forming, the calzone is always shaped like a crescent. Calzone is a typical dish for the central and southern regions of Italy. This pizza can be baked in the oven or fry in vegetable oil. I suggest preparing a calzone from a pumpkin dough with a juicy and fragrant filling of minced meat and mushrooms!
Ingredients:- Pumpkin 120 g
- Eggs chicken 1 pc.
- Sunflower refined sunflower oil 3 tbsp. l.
- Sugar 1 tbsp. l.
- Water 100 ml
- Yeast, fresh, 20 g
- Salt 3 g
- Wheat flour 430 g
- Pork forcemeat 250 g
- Mushrooms champignons 100 g
- Onions 1 pc.
- Cheese hard 100 g
- Garlic 3 denticles
- Tomato sauce 2 tbsp. l.
- Black pepper powder 0.5 g
- Salt 3 g
- Sunflower refined sunflower oil 3 tbsp. l.
- Step 1 To prepare the calzone we will need 300 g of the prepared pumpkin dough, minced meat, onion, mushrooms, cheese, tomato sauce, salt, garlic, sunflower oil.
- Step 2 Cut the onions into cubes, garlic - plates. Fry the onions and garlic until half cooked.
- Step 3 Add the champignons cut into plates, fry for 1 minute.
- Step 4 Add the mince. Strain under the lid for 7-8 minutes.
- Step 5 Add the tomato sauce, salt, pepper. Mix.
- Step 6 Divide the dough into 2 parts. Roll each one in a circle with a thickness of 0.7 cm. On one side, put the stuffing.
- Step 7 Put the grated cheese on the filling.
- Step 8 Turn the free end of the filling test. Form a pizza in the form of a crescent.
- Step 9 Lubricate with sunflower oil. If desired, sprinkle with sesame and spicy herbs. Make 3 longitudinal incisions from the top. Bake the calzone for 20 minutes at 180 ° C.
