- fresh cranberries - 3 cups
- sugar - 1 glass
- pears - 3 pieces
- lemon peel - 1 st. a spoon
- fresh lemon juice - 1 st. a spoon
- fresh orange juice - 1/2 cup
- raisins - 1/4 cup
- dried dates without pits, large-sliced (about 5 dates) - 1/4 Cups
Mix the cranberries and sugar in a saucepan, cook over medium low heat, until the berries are allowed to juice, about 8 minutes. Peel and cut pears into cubes. Put the sliced pears into a bowl and mix with lemon zest and juice. Add orange juice, raisins, figs to cranberries. Increase the fire to high. Stirring, add the pears when the mixture starts to bubble. Cook, stirring, until the mixture thickens and the pears turn red, about 10 minutes. Put in a bowl. Allow to cool, chutney chill in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
