Chicken marinated in kefir Often not only pork meat, but chicken pre-marinated for a more delicate and juicy taste. So today we offer a recipe for baked chicken thighs, previously marinated in kefir with spices. In just 30 minutes, while you prepare the rest of the food, the meat will become even more juicy. To prepare a dish you need to take a deep shape, so that all products fit in height and do not "jump out" during baking. I used as a spice mixture of Italian herbs, but you can safely add only those spices that you love! The result is a very tasty and juicy chicken with a garnish of potatoes - a delicious and elegant dinner!
Ingredients:- Chicken thigh 900 g
- Potatoes 8 pcs.
- Tomatoes 2 pcs.
- Kefir 1 tbsp.
- A mixture of Italian herbs 3 tsp.
- Olive oil 2 tbsp. l.
- Pepper black ground 3 pinch
- Salt 4 pinch
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Step 1 To prepare the dish, you need 5-6 chicken thighs, potatoes, tomatoes, kefir, olive oil and spices.
- Step 2 It is good to wash the chicken, pour kefir, add 1-2 teaspoons of a mixture of Italian herbs and 1-2 pips of salt and black ground pepper, squeeze a clove of garlic - mix everything well and leave to marinate for 25-30 minutes.
- Step 3 Peel potatoes, cut into large pieces, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil, mix herbs, salt, pepper and squeezed 1 clove of garlic - mix well.
- Step 4 Cut the tomatoes into 1-1.5 cm thick rings.
- Step 5 Put the potatoes on the bottom of the deep form, and on top of the tomato rings.
- Step 6 Then put the chicken thighs on the tomatoes and pour the whole marinade from kefir.
- Step 7 Bake in a preheated oven to 200 ° C for 45-60 minutes until crusty.
