Corn porridge on milk The corn that came in the 16th century from America spread and became known to the whole world, over time many people even began to consider corn porridge as their national dish. So in Romania there was a hominy, which looked more like bread, and in Italy - polenta. In our country, corn appeared less than a century ago, so this natural product does not have a hundred-year tradition of use in Russian cuisine. Nevertheless, the popularity of corn and corn porridge is indisputable. The taste of cooked cereal is slightly rude, has a specific taste, for which her gourmets love. In addition to excellent taste, corn porridge has many useful properties. Corn porridge is rich in vitamins and fiber - it helps to remove from the body of various harmful substances and toxins. This croup is low allergenic and can be included in the diet of toddlers and people with increased sensitivity. And if you are interested in the question of losing weight, it is better to find corn porridge. Regular use of cereal from corn cereal will not provoke excessive fullness, but will lead to saturation and gradual disappearance of excess centimeters from your waist.
Ingredients:- Groats of corn 2 tbsp. l.
- Milk 100 ml
- Water 100 ml
- Salt 1 pinch
- Dark raisins 20 g
- Butter 10 g
- Step 1 To make 1 serving of corn porridge in the oven, we need: corn grits, milk, water, salt and raisins. Increase the proportions based on how many you are a person.
- Step 2 Pre-soak the clay pot in water for 15 minutes so that it does not crack in a hot oven. You can use other utensils suitable for the oven. Then pour milk and water into the pot (in a 1: 1 ratio), the volume of the liquid from 150 ml to 200 ml, depending on how thick you like porridge.
- Step 3 Pour 2 tbsp. l. with a hill of corn groats, as well as a pinch of salt.
- Step 4 Add the raisins and mix. You can also add a little sugar to taste.
- Step 5 Put the pot in a preheated oven to 180 ° C.
- Step 6 After 30 minutes, take out and mix, put back in the oven.
