Preparation of dishes for preparation of delicacies

The most optimal capacity for jam is enameled pan or bowl. This kind of cookware is good in that after cooking, the product can be left to cool directly in this container. In some cases dandelion sweetness is cooked in a pot of copper or stainless steel, but in this case the jam will have to be transferred to another vessel for cooling.

Preparation of flowers

Collect dandelion inflorescences best in clear weather, preferably under the midday sun, when all the buds are fully opened. Please note that it is desirable to collect flowers in places where roads do not run and harmful plants are not located. The cleaner and more environmentally-friendly the dandelion is, the better.

Treatment of inflorescences can be carried out in different ways. Most often, the petals are separated from the green flower bed and washed under running water. However, there are those who do not like to flush useful pollen from the plant - such people do not soak buds, but put them in jam in dry form.
