Design of the premises according to the laws of Feng Shui

Today the decoration of the room and feng shui go hand in hand, bringing together the cultural traditions of the east and the western world. The principles of this ancient Chinese science are simple to apply, although it may be necessary to spend some time to experiment before achieving the best results. Feng Shui (in translation - "wind and water") creates harmony and good quality of energy in our habitat. The purpose of Feng Shui is traditionally that the positive energy of qi (healthy energy) flow smoothly and circulate throughout the entire living space or workplace. According to theory, harmony is achieved when the yin and yang are balanced. Yin stands for darkness and silence, yang - corresponds to life and brightness.

The idea behind the teachings of Feng Shui is that our vital well-being depends directly on qi. It decreases if there is not enough harmony and positive qi in our habitat. Methods of feng shui have been used for thousands of years, and not only in buildings, but also in the design and layout of cities and public places. But how to apply these ancient practices of feng shui when decorating a room?

First you have to ask yourself a few questions:
If your answers say that in some ways improvements can be achieved, maybe you should spend a little time on design and feng shui? Here are some tips that will help create a more positive Qi and balance of yin and yang:

1. Use the right colors - they are necessary for both health and mental state. All colors are symbolic expressions. Bright colors - green, red, yellow and blue represent concepts such as growth, luck and longevity. Dark colors relax and soothe, although excessive use of them can lead to depression.

2. Remove all the mess. If your house is busy with a lot of useless things and items, your mind too becomes busy, so it becomes difficult for you to focus on issues that require a clear solution. Ask yourself what you really need to have on hand and clean the rest of the things away!

3. Make sure there is enough room for energy to move. This is another key principle of decoration and feng shui. Organize your room in such a way that people can enter and leave with ease. Remove all objects that interfere with easy movement. Thus, the flow of healthy qi energy increases.

4. You should always see the door. You may not realize this, but being able to see the door of the room creates a sense of security and freedom. People feel vulnerable when they can not see the door, especially during night rest. We feel safe when we see someone enter and leave the room. Put the bed so that you can see the door.

5. Create a balance between the hard line and the soft form. This is especially important when combining furniture, or planning the situation in the room. Often a beautifully curved chair located in one of the corners helps to break the hard lines of more traditional furniture.

Use these methods when decorating your house, and you will improve the quality of your living space ... and maybe even life!
