Exercises from yoga to raise the tone and mood

Many ignore yoga, believing that to practice it you need to have a very flexible body. These errors are probably inspired by photographs of people who perform asanas. Usually these pictures depict those who have practiced yoga for many years and whose bodies have long become so flexible and pliable. But it is impossible to understand from these pictures how much time they actually spent, so that their body took such a shape. Therefore, when looking at pictures, one must try to think in another direction: beautiful shapes and a flexible body is a kind of journey. And like every journey, it has its own beginning, which, in fact, is the starting point from which we start, wanting to change something in ourselves and our lives. With this thought, each of us usually starts to perform asanas. Yoga lessons are suitable for any person, and even for someone whose body is not distinguished by flexibility and grace. An important task for all practitioners is the search for unity between spirit and body. And not only to become as plastic as the girl from the picture of Pablo Picasso. The main thing is to get to know yourself and the way you follow. Exercises from yoga to raise the tone and mood will help you.

Beauty comes from within

Even a very attractive person does not look so cute when angry, annoyed or tense. Yoga teaches us to relax, helps to solve daily problems and shows the way to understanding ourselves. In the process of self-knowledge, we become more flexible and slimmer - each new movement is easier, the spine is leveled, as a result, the skin gets better nutrition and looks fresh and velvety, as if shining from the inside. The body begins to radiate beauty.

Going beyond the limits of consciousness

We were born with pure thoughts and a bright soul, without prejudices and nervous experiences. As they grew, we had to overcome stressful situations and acquire harmful habits - which was reflected on our body. Under the burden of these problems, the shoulders sagged, the spine assumed an unnatural position, the brain is constantly overloaded with problems, which makes it very difficult to relax. Practicing yoga poses, we push ourselves to seek harmony, some balance between motion and stillness. This helps us better understand our desires, understand the attitude to the world around us and make the right decision. People usually come to yoga classes with certain expectations about what they can achieve by practicing asanas all the time. It's ridiculous to say, but very many people treat the stance on their hands as something childish. Maybe they are used to doing such things 20, 30. 40 years ago, but probably never thought that they would have to repeat it again. In some cases, factors such as, for example, growth, can be considered a contraindication for such a posture. And sometimes all the same growth, alas, can lead to some kind of bodily injury while performing asanas. But thanks to persistent and persistent training even high people can eventually perform a stand on their hands. Thus, yoga destroys our beliefs and beliefs about our own shortcomings and limitations. We begin to understand that the limits of our possibilities are much wider than we thought, and from this we feel the joy of reincarnation, as if we are born again. It's like enjoying the look of how a pet dog has learned to perform new commands. That is why asana has such a huge and multi-purpose psychological value. In the physical sense, daily stimulation of the endocrine system allows maintaining a balanced hormonal level. Muscles eventually acquire a tone, tighten. And the psychotherapeutic effect of yoga in those who practice it regularly, is reflected in everyday life. Followers of yoga noted that they are able to expand the limits of their abilities.

Breath of life

It is very important to maintain your individuality and understanding of your self. This is something that supports and protects us throughout life. And the shape of the body is just a representation of what we represent. The result of our slow, deliberate, unconscious continuous self - knowledge, which affects the tele - nerves, circulatory system, organs, bones, tendons and muscles. The main obstacle to freedom and satisfaction lies in neglecting the integrity of our spirit and body. Control of breathing (in Sanskrit - Pranayama) is one of the main features of yoga. Controlling the inhale-exhalation, we control our mind. This is the tool that we use when we work with prana (in Indian philosophy - a special kind of life force). Wherever we are, in all conditions there is life, but there is prana. "Pra" in Sanskrit means movement, and "on" is a constant change. Prana is like electricity, which is present in nature in all its random and unforeseen forms. Lightning flashes here and there, and we can never foresee with precision where it will pierce the sky next time. But if we connect electricity to the wires, then its movement will become predictable - only then we can manage it. The wire is the means by which we transfer electricity from point A to point B and can use this energy, for example, to illuminate houses and streets. We live as guides through which this prana flows, but the fact is that these wires can be twisted, damaged or broken. The practice of yoga allows us to return the life force to our wires and allows this energy to flow freely again through the body.

We are what we eat

The appearance of the figure also depends on the food we consume. And one of the key factors that affect this is the diet. I'm not going to tell you about vegetarianism or how we should eat, but I'd like to share some of my discoveries, especially regarding healthy drinks. Every week I go to the store and buy greens, cucumbers, radish and nettles. I mix all the products in a blender and drink, and even if it is not the most delicious drink, I feel how it fills me with energy, makes it stronger and stronger. Green cocktails from herbs, wheat germs and vegetables are also very useful for the body, because they contain a lot of easily digestible vitamins, minerals and amino acids. The word "Surya" means "Sun", "Namaskar" means "greeting". This practice is popular in yoga. It is like preparing for a spiritual awakening and expansion of consciousness. The ideal time for classes is sunrise.

Tadasana (pose of the mountain)

Stand upright, feet together, thumbs and heels touch each other. Make sure that the body weight is evenly distributed throughout the foot. Do not strain your big toes, pull them out and keep them relaxed (this is their position for all standing poses). The ankles are kept in line with each other, knees strain. Hips and buttocks squeeze, spread the chest, tighten the stomach. Pull the neck out, while the head looks forward. Hold the hands along the body, pulling down, palms facing the thighs and are with them on the same line. Do not lift shoulders. Stand so for 20 or 30 seconds and breathe normally. Tadasana is very important, since most asanas begin and end with this pose.

Uttanasana (posture of intensive traction)

On the exhalation, lean forward, placing your palms on the floor parallel to the feet (fingers of the palms and feet at the same level), who does not reach the floor, can take the shins. Then try to touch the knee head. Stay in this position for 1 -2 minutes depending on the preparation. On inhalation, relax and slowly return to the starting position, hands at the same time hang down. Make a full exhalation.

Urdhva mukha svanasana (dog posture with head raised)

Lie on your stomach, put your palms at the chest level. The feet lie on the floor 30-40 cm apart. On exhalation press, tear off the body from the floor and straighten your arms. Twisting your spine and throwing your head, bend back. In this case, the body and legs should be on weight, resting only on the palms and feet (breathing free). Hold in this position for 10-15 seconds. Then return to the starting position.
