Features of dietary nutrition in summer and winter

For any woman who aspires to have a slender and smart figure, the basic rules of dietary nutrition must be strictly observed throughout the calendar year. However, when planning the diet in different seasons of the year, it is necessary to take into account certain features that are explained by the influence of changing environmental conditions on the organism. Therefore, the set of dishes in our menu on summer days with proper nutrition will be slightly different from that set during the severe January frosts. So, what are the features of dietary nutrition in summer and winter?

In the summer (especially at a very high temperature of the surrounding air), our body really needs an increased amount of cool liquid. Remember how you feel when you are in the office during working hours, say, in June or July on a bright, sunny day. At such times a person loses a significant amount of water with a strong perspiration. Scientists have proved that a loss of 20% of body water can already lead to death. Therefore, in summer dietary nutrition must necessarily include a large number of soft drinks - best of all, mineral water or natural juices. However, when choosing juices, attention should be paid to the sugar content, since an excess of this carbohydrate will supply "extra" calories to the body, which in turn will contribute to the formation of fat deposits and the appearance of excess body weight. For the same reason, in the summer it is desirable to limit the use of sweets and fatty foods (fats twice the calories of the same sugar).

Another feature of the dietary diet in the summer should be the variety included in the menu of fruits and vegetables. (Moreover, at the end of summer these products can be bought in almost all markets and much cheaper than in winter). Vegetable food will saturate our body with all necessary mineral substances (they are also very much lost during sweating on hot days), they will satisfy the feeling of hunger, but at the same time will ensure the receipt of not very large amounts of calories (which will help prevent the occurrence of excess body weight). In addition, fruits and wax have one feature, very important for dietary nutrition - they contain almost all vitamins necessary for the human body. Therefore, the use of dishes from vegetable products is one of the indispensable attributes of a healthy lifestyle and the rational organization of dietary nutrition in particular.

In winter, the temperature of the surrounding air is significantly reduced, and when you go out into the street, despite warm clothes and shoes, our body loses much more heat than in the summer. Therefore, the peculiarities of the organization of dietary nutrition in winter should be a certain increase in the total caloric content of the diet (of course, if you do not spend the entire winter season in some exotic corner of our planet where the high temperature of the surrounding air is observed all year round). Do not categorically deny the use of even a certain amount of fatty foods, because they will put in our body the required number of calories needed to fill the increased heat loss. However, after all, such products with a high fat content should be consumed in the morning so that there is no risk of overweight.

As for the mineral water and juices, which are so necessary in the summer, in winter, there is no need to consume them too much, since the organism, in conditions of lowering the air temperature, on the contrary tries to get rid of excess water (this is due to its high heat capacity, the heat consumption in cold conditions must be saved). Therefore, a feature of the break in the workplace during the winter months instead of drinking a glass of mineral water should be a tea ceremony, at which you can drink a cup of hot herbal tea. However, do not overdo with the amount of added sugar - remember that this is a fairly high-calorie substance. Hot tea itself is able to warm our body, supplying it with a certain amount of heat, and additional calories here are not so necessary.

Supper with dietary nutrition in winter should, like in the summer, be less caloric compared to breakfast or lunch. However, the peculiarity of eating foods in the evening in winter compared with the summer months is still a slight increase in calorie content (which is associated with a general increase in energy costs in the cold season). Therefore, it is unlikely to manage with vegetable salad alone, especially if you have to spend a lot of time in the open air during the day.
