Anorgasmia. Anorgasmia is not such a rare female gynecological disease. It is not possible to reach orgasm, despite the intense sexual arousal of you and your partner. The cause may be fear of pregnancy, as well as life in constant tension. If you suspect anorgasmia, you need to contact a gynecologist. After all, this disease is completely treated by psychological methods, or pharmaceutical. Its result can be neurosis, aversion to sex, and also inflammation of the genital tract.

Endometrium. Doctors also often use the concept of endometrium. Endometrium is a change in the uterus during the menstrual cycle. Hormones stimulate its growth. If there is no conception during ovulation, the membrane exfoliates and stands out with menstrual blood. It happens that the flesh is overgrown and appears in other places, such as the ovaries. As a result, women are dealing with endometriosis. This female gynecological disease should be treated, because it can lead to infertility.

Hormonal cycle. It is also called the menstrual cycle. This is the period from the first day of menstruation to the first day of the next. In most women, the hormonal cycle lasts from 25 to 30 days. Cycles shorter than 25 days indicate hormonal disorders. It is necessary to study the level of hormones and, possibly, prescribe appropriate medications. Usually after treatment, the cycle returns to normal.

Cytology. Cytology is the microscopic examination of cells taken from the cervix. Thus, it is possible to detect abnormalities in the structure of cells that provoke the development of cancer. Results of cytology: I and II group - the correct status, III group - there are changes requiring therapy, IV group - cancer cells are formed in the cervix or in the uterus itself.

Estrogens. Estrogens are hormones produced in the ovaries. They stimulate important processes in cells. It is the estrogens that form the female figure, make the hair shiny and cause the desire to have sex.

Hormone replacement therapy. Hormone replacement therapy is to restore the balance of hormones estrogen and progesterone in their deficiency. Hormone therapy is used in women aged 45-55 years to alleviate the unpleasant effects of menopause (temperature jumps, heart palpitations, etc.).

Ovary. Ovaries are glands that produce eggs. They participate in the production of hormones of estrogens and progesterones.

Libido. So scientifically called sexual desire. Each of us has individual sexual needs. Libido largely depends on hereditary factors and the level of sex hormones.

Menopause. This is the termination of the menstrual period. In most women, menopause occurs between 50 and 55 years. Often menopause is preceded by irregular menstrual cycles, hot flashes, depressive moods. To relatively painlessly transfer menopause, a gynecologist can be prescribed hormone therapy.

Erosion. This is a sore in the mucous membrane of the cervix. Gynecologists consider erosion of the cervix as a fairly serious female disease. But many patients sometimes "forget" about this disease. Erosion should not be underestimated! It must be cured. Elderly erosion of the cervix can develop into a malignant tumor.

Ovulation. This is the exit from the ovary of a mature egg, which itself moves along the fallopian tube into the uterus. Some women during this period have spotting and abdominal pain.

Progesterone. This is the hormone that is produced in the second part of the cycle in the ovaries and adrenal glands. Progesterone prepares the endometrium for implantation of the embryo. Progesterone is also necessary for the proper course of pregnancy.

Cyst. It's about flowing with liquid. Most forms of the cyst develop on the ovaries or the fallopian tube as a result of hormonal imbalance. The cyst can cause abdominal pain, as well as menstrual irregularities.

In vitro fertilization. This is the fertilization of the egg with the spermatozoon outside the body by artificial means. It is used to achieve pregnancy in women who for some reason can not conceive in the usual way. The woman takes an ovum, and is fertilized "in vitro" with a sperm cell. The fertilized egg is placed in the uterus. And further pregnancy proceeds usual.
