Form and methods of preschool education

You still do not know about new trends in education? Then we urgently put our hand to the pulse of the international parental life. Some of these trends affect quite serious and relevant topics, while others are simply amusing. The form and methods of preschool education are an actual topic for today.

A sperm donor similar to a celebrity

At first it is perceived as a joke, and now it turned out that this is not just a rally, but a new kind of business. It happens that a potential mother for one reason or another resorts to a donor bank and independently makes a decision about the appearance of the future baby. And how to describe your preferences? Someone's easiest to point out the appearance of your favorite star. After all, external beauty can do a good job in some career directions. On the other hand, there is also the risk of a controversial fashion in the spirit of "I have ordered Timberlake myself." How the service works: a visitor of the site can choose from the list of famous names of his sex symbols. The computer will process the request and issue questionnaires to male donors who have an external resemblance to the stars (the degree of similarity varies from 50 to 100%). In the list there are such famous names as Elijah Wood, Vin Diesel, Tom Hanke, David Beckham, Colin Farrell, Justin Timberlake. In parallel, there is a brisk trade in such a "commodity" as a "baby photo" or a voice interview with a donor. Most likely, this new trend is no more than a marketing move: after all, all people belong to different types, and the stars too. And how much this exotic marketing will suit potential parents from the ethical point of view - we will see.

Luxury children's holidays are no longer popular

For some time it was very popular to turn baby's birthdays into a demonstration of the possibilities of the parent wallet: children's "riding" on helicopters, hourly rent of a mini-zoo, ordering of design invitations and studio recording of a musical disc. The children's holiday turned into a thematic social party for parents worth tens of thousands of dollars. It got to the point that it was not necessary to give gifts on such birthdays. This fashion quickly scattered around the world, but at the time of the world economic crisis it began to look inappropriate. In addition, the parents realized that the children's holiday is primarily sweets, balls, gifts and games. But the industry still does not give up: holiday agencies are struggling to keep the departing costly fashion for chic "matinees". They invent unusual thematic parties - and actively propagate them. For example, more recently, the Australian agency for organizing holidays Vonevents on the wave of noise around the style of the heroines of "Sex and the City" has offered a new "product" for girls - a day spa party. The company of girls on a white and pink limousine is taken for the whole day to a special children's spa. Each young lady is given a pink robe and a hair cap. In the "package" of the holiday includes a lavender foot bath with rose petals, facial masks with cocoa and cucumbers, polishing of nails, manicure, pedicure, hair styling, make-up, a cocktail with strawberries. Director of the agency Shivoyi Matthews admits: "Of course, this is not seriously a spa-care. Young ladies want to try on the glamorous role of the model. It's an interactive and fun holiday with games and entertainment. " Limousine - yes, there is in the kit, glamor - too, but now only game. And all this is much more modest than a helicopter ride, plus renting a zoo. Apparently, a compromise was found.

Dad is an active parent

An active parent - in this context, the term used to refer to who changes diapers, gets up at night to a child, leads him to doctors and generally conducts households while the second parent earns money for living. Now mom and dad often began to change roles: from rare precedents, the story of Dad's "leading parenthood" turns into a social norm. The reason for the change of landmarks is banal: in the current economic situation, one who has avoided crisis dismissal works and at times this person in the family turns out to be a woman. It is not known how the new trend will affect the distribution of sex roles in the family. What's important is this: for the first time in a long time the popes are so actively involved in the upbringing of children - and they get a chance to have a deep emotional contact with them.

Breastfeeding: time is money

This is not a fashion, but a self-observation of the parent community, in particular the blogosphere. Some time ago, prolonged breastfeeding was considered a prerequisite for the good development of the baby, and for the health of the mother in particular. Now we are talking about much more compressed deadlines: many women choose half a year of breastfeeding as an option, a compromise for themselves and respectful of the baby. The reasons for the trend are most likely related to changes in the labor market.

Helikopter-paringing almost in the past

"Helicopter parenting" is a parent movement, the essence of which is in the extremely early care of where the child will learn and work in the distant future. Often, helikopter-paringing is called the prison of parental love, described as a fanatical aspiration to predetermine the social success of the baby. After all, a child enrolled in a university for a chosen specialty by parents should match the ambition of parents with the young nails. But in fact he has the right to choose, where and on whom to him to study and work in twenty years. So, parents who are obsessed with the child's social success are now out of fashion.

Education geeks is no longer relevant

The enthusiasm of the parents' community about the active early development of children, all kinds of developing adaptations and infant teachers throughout the world has fallen off dramatically. Society is gradually returning to the belief that the child can be seriously taught only when he is ripe for this emotionally, intellectually and physically. The opposite trend regarding learning is home classes. Perhaps the reasons for all the gaining popularity of training - in the absence of stress from the "public institution." The essence of the EU is that the child does not wear disposable diapers, and parents learn about his need to go to the toilet on the reflex movements of the body, facial expressions and speech signs. At the moment, of course, it is difficult for the parent community to embed such practice into their real life: modern moms and dads are still more active and not ready for public embarrassments. But there is already a clear tendency towards compromise solutions.

Prohibition of prohibition

The new fashion in the process of raising children is "allowed". That is, for example, do not make a tragedy, if the child climbed into a puddle, accidentally saw a porn film, picked up a parental drink or swore obscenities. The trend is shocking, but its advocates say: let's be realistic, the kid does the same as his parents, he draws the skills of behavior in his family and surrounding environment. Give a good example - and the child will copy the good. The trend is not unfair for any other reason. In psychoanalysis, there is a paradigm that neurosis is a stopped need. If a child shows a keen interest in something, the dramatic or forbidding behavior of adults can make this interest truly intrusive and painful.

Back to the future: a return to traditional values

The trend consists of two things: civil marriages with children suddenly lost their keenness and freedom of freedom. It is fashionable now that children are born after the "stamp in the passport" and the wedding. Apparently, the parents' community so instinctively protects their kids from the dangers of the crisis period. And the old-fashioned rule "We are not so rich to buy cheap things" has returned to fashion, as well as official marriage. Ten years ago, high-tech wheelchairs for 1,000 dollars were considered whims of the rich. Today, these adaptations are perceived as a family relic, which sets the birth of younger children and the creation of a solid family. The third direction of the trend is the desire to give children a comprehensive religious education, regardless of the personal faith or atheism of the parents themselves. This is happening, perhaps because parents need figurative and philosophical tools for discussing key values and fostering humanity in children. After all, fashion comes and goes, and such eternal values as kindness, love and responsibility remain.
