Green rice Golden rice with green peas and green onions, as well as a lot of spices - a great garnish when you want to try something new from ordinary products! In this recipe, we use the freshly frozen peas, not the canned ones, and the golden color of the rice gives turmeric.
Ingredients:- Steamed rice 350 g
- Salt 0.5 tsp.
- Garlic 1 clove
- Olive oil 75 ml
- Butter 30 g
- Chernushka (nigella) 0.25 grams
- Coriander dry 0.5 tsp.
- Green onions 0.5 bunch
- Turmeric 1.5 tsp.
- Frozen peas 350 g
- Pepper black ground 2 pinch
- Step 1 For the preparation of golden rice with green peas, we need steamed raw rice, freshly frozen or fresh peas, green onions, cream and olive oil, turmeric, coriander, nigella (garlic), garlic, salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- Step 2 Pour olive oil on the frying pan and throw a slice of creamy.
- Step 3 Pour peas, not defreezing it.
- Step 4 Fry the peas on a mixture of oils for about 10 minutes first on an average, and then over low heat. Grind the green onion, add to the peas.
- Step 5 Also add turmeric, coriander, nigella, salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- Step 6 Stir and continue to fry for about 10 minutes on a very slow fire under the lid, stirring occasionally. If necessary, add olive oil or butter.
- Step 7 Separately in salted water, cook until ready rice. We rinse it and pour it out to the soft peas.
- Step 8 Mix the rice and peas, add crushed garlic and fry over low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Cover with a lid, remove from heat and let it infuse for about 10 minutes. We serve rice with peas for garnish. This rice is delicious both hot and cold.
