- oat flakes - 6 Cups
- nuts - 1 1/4 Cups
- seeds - 1/4 Cups
- wheat embryos or flaxseed - 1/3 Glass
- Ground cinnamon - 3/4 Teaspoons
- egg whites - 3 pieces
- Salt - 3/4 Teaspoons
- sugar, honey, agave syrup or molasses - 3/4 Cups
- olive oil - 1/3 cup
- Dried fruits - 1 glass
Preheat the oven to 170 degrees. Mix oatmeal, nuts, seeds, wheat germ and cinnamon in a large bowl. In another bowl, beat the egg whites and salt into a foam. Add sugar and olive oil. Add the liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix. Lay the mixture on the baking sheets and level it. Bake for 20 minutes, then gently turn over using a spatula. Continue baking until golden brown, about 10 minutes. Allow to cool completely, then put in a bowl and gently mix in dried fruit.
