Gymnastics for pregnant women for turning a child

At the very first stages of pregnancy, when the future child is still very small, he can move freely inside the uterus, easily changing his position. However, over time, as it grows, it becomes cramped. Nevertheless, until about thirty weeks of pregnancy, his position, as a rule, does not cause concern. By this time, the child usually turns his head down.

In this situation, it is said that the fetus is in the head preposition. This option is classic and it is most convenient for delivery. But it happens that the child occupies a different position and the present part is not the head but the buttocks. This position is called the gluteal, or pelvic presentation. Natural childbirth in this situation is also possible.

Determine the presentation at the time of ultrasound, as well as when examined by a specialist. If after the thirtieth week the baby took not a head presentation, then the woman is recommended gymnastics for pregnant women for turning the child. To panic in such situation it is not necessary, as many children accept a head previa later, sometimes even before the very birth. The following exercise course helps to rotate the child.

These exercises should be done after 29 weeks.

The woman should lie down on the floor, put a few pillows under the basin and raise her legs. The pelvis should be 30 cm above the shoulders. At the same time, the pelvis, shoulders and knees should be on the same line. After this exercise, children sometimes turn over right after the first time. If the child is stubborn and does not want to turn over, then repeat the lesson three times a day. You can not do this exercise on a full stomach. There is a second option for this exercise. You can put someone on the opposite and put his feet on his shoulders (on the shoulders should be popliteal fossa).

In addition to this method, which is considered classical, there are others. You can cauterize on the foot of the point from the outside of the little finger or perform acupressure of the foot. But such actions should be done by specialists.

With the gluteal and (or) transverse position, there are other exercises:

Introductory: The arms are lowered, the legs are set on the width of the shoulders. At the expense of one you have to raise your hands to the sides (palms look down), stand on your toes and bend your back, while you need to take a deep breath. Two exhale and return to the original position. Repeat 4 times.

Basis: The woman needs to lie on her side, facing the fetal back with the breech presentation. If the fetus has a transverse presentation, then it is necessary to lie on the opposite side to the one to which the head is turned. Then you should bend your legs in the hip and knee joints and lie down for 5 minutes. Then they are deeply inhaled and turn to the other side through the back, so again it is necessary to lie down for 5 minutes. Next, the leg, which is located on top, should be straightened (with pelvic presentation); if the child has a transverse position, then straighten the leg on which lie. The second leg should always be bent. Then take a deep breath and bend the straightened leg again in the knee and hip joint, then the knee should be wrapped around the back and towards the buttocks (at the pelvic or transverse position, respectively). With these actions, the body tilts forward, and the knee bent at the knee will describe the semicircle inward, while touching the front wall of the abdomen. Then follows a deep exhalation, after which it is necessary to straighten and lower the leg and relax. Then a deep breath and exercise is repeated. So it should be done about 5 times.

Final: Lie on your back and in the hip joints and knees to bend your legs, and feet of both feet to rest on the floor on the width of the shoulders, hands lie along the body. On the first count, inhale and raise the pelvis, it is necessary to rest on the shoulders and feet. On the second count, the pelvis is lowered and exhaled. After that, the legs straighten, inhale and strain the buttocks, and the crotch and stomach are retracted. Then exhale and relax. Repeat 7 times.

If on an ultrasound examination the doctor sees that the gymnastics for pregnant women has given the result and the kid has taken the necessary position, then the introductory and basic exercise is not done, and the final exercise is repeated until the baby is born.
