How to force yourself to do exercises

Everyone from childhood knows that in the morning you need to do exercises. But not everyone can force himself to do exercises. When asked: why is this happening, psychologists answer "the problem lies in the rebellious subconscious". The subconscious mind is aimed at minimizing the loss of energy, so morning exercises do not fit into compulsory cases. So we are brought up. If you convince your subconscious that the morning exercise is useful, necessary and good, then it will not be so riotous.

There is a rule of 21 days, many heard about it. For some action to become a habit, it must be repeated within 21 days. And do not give yourself indulgences for the weekend, because if you missed at least one day, then the countdown of 21 days will have to start again.

The rule of this certainly works well at the level of physiology. The body develops a certain habit, so it's easier for us to adapt to innovations. However, the newly introduced habit (morning exercise) will not work by itself, if for you it is not vital. The body will not by itself perform gymnastics only because you have developed such a habit. The body is not able to pull you out of bed in the morning and / or drive you to the gym in the evening. Therefore, the choice is yours. Besides, you will have to do it every time.

To every time the choice fell on the decision to do exercises in the morning, you need a serious motivation that would constantly "spur you on". And it does not matter what kind of motivation will be: negative or positive. After all, it does not matter why you will do exercises in the morning, so that former classmates are envious of seeing you in a good fit or because the charge is useful for the body. By the way, the first motivation is usually stronger and more effective for most women.

Motivation, as a rule, inclines the person to make the certain decision. At the same time, before leading to a decision making, clears the road, sweeping aside other options.

Some may think that in order to start doing exercises in the morning, it's enough to have only motivation. On the first day of morning exercises, forces are usually easy to mobilize. However, the next day make charging a little more difficult. On the third day, charging will be difficult. On the fourth day, you no longer want to get out of bed. Did the motivation disappear? No, the motivation is all right! You also did not lose the desire to become slimmer and not sick. You just do not have enough willpower to start working on the fourth day again. Your will is not yet so powerful as to be an eternally functioning engine.

Charging should bring pleasure to the body, and not physical, but speculative. Therefore, it is not at all necessary to put yourself to the fullest by torturing yourself with complex exercises. Listen to your body, assessing your health and physical abilities.

Surely everyone has seen such a picture when people leave the gym after a grueling training, begin to whine, moan, complain to the coach that he has changed the set of exercises, because of what they have every muscle now hurts. Seeing as a person is suffering, there is a desire to ask: "What did you think? Why did you repeat after all? Do not you want to look weaker than everyone? ". But we will try not for ranks, but for pleasure! And we need to strive for this! Therefore, before you start the morning exercises, set a goal - to have fun. Having such a goal, each time you will get better and better. In addition, it will significantly strengthen your motivation at the physiological level.

It is often possible to meet people who, faced with the first difficulties, are looking for reasons, begin to reflect on why they do not get anything, why everything is so complicated. We will tell at once, it is not necessary to do this. All doubts must be discarded and begin to act and develop a habit. Do not look for reasons why you are so difficult to get up in the morning and you are too lazy, why every day (until the habit is developed) is more difficult and more difficult. The body has inertia, but it does what you command it.
