How to make New Year's earrings: a master class from polymer clay

Do not know how to surprise your beautiful ladies and little princesses for the upcoming holiday - New Year? You can please yourself with this miracle, if you are a female. We advise you to make your own hands earrings made of polymer clay in the form of New Year's candies. They look inexpressibly - unusual, bright, beautiful, original, funny. Suitable for women of any age and of course to small children. We assure you that the one to whom you will present this unforgettable gift will be completely delighted; having learned that you made it for her this miracle - you can lose the gift of speech. Follow our step-by-step instructions with the photo and everything will turn out!

For work you need:

• Multicolored ribbons (green and red)
• Polymer clay (baked) 3 colors (red, white, green)
• Lacquer Fimo (or any other special lacquer for polymer clay)
• Fastening for earrings (швензы, rings connecting, pins with an ear)
• Glue
• Lollipop

Step-by-step instruction:

Before you start, we advise you: before you begin to perform our jewelry, you should wipe your hands thoroughly with wet napkins or wash them with soap to avoid contamination of the polymer clay. It very strongly attracts dust, dirt, various villi and stuff. The same thing we do with each transition to another color.

1. Let's make of red and green ribbons two small bow, with which we then decorate our earrings.
2. We take the polymer clay and knead it in hands until it becomes soft and plastic. When the material is prepared, we make 6 strips, the length of which is not more than 10 cm. Two strips of white, two green, two red. Then take the already rolled white strip and wrap around it first green, then red. The same with the second white stripe.
3. After that, gently roll all the connected strips and get one multicolored long strip. Such a beautiful and bright coloring will be our future sweet.
4. Now go to the next stage. Accurately begin to roll into the spiral the resulting strip. First one, then the second. This should be done carefully, without crushing the rounded texture.
5. After the previous stage we should have two spirals (our candies) of this kind (see photo below).
6. Now we stick a pin with an eye, on which our decoration will be kept. In the opposite part of the figure we insert a stick from the candy, then pull out the stick. Thus, we have prepared our future hole for the wand. You do not need to insert it (so that it passes a bit less than before the middle).
7. We now pass to the end of our work. We bake our yummy in the oven. When baking it is necessary to follow instructions, which is indicated on the packing of clay. For example, for the German polymeric clay Fimo need 20-30 minutes at a temperature of no more than 110 C.
8. After we baked our billets - stick them out, insert the prepared hole carefully from the chupa chups and wait until our decorations have cooled down. We cover them with varnish (preferably special for the polymer). Now we wait until the varnish dries. We take the glue Moment or universal for your choice and glue the pins and wand. Do not forget about our bows, put them on sticks and also glue them.
9. And the most final stage - we attach shvenzy to our sweets.

You can take immediately stapled parts for earrings and bake with them our workpieces, and do not use pins or schwenzes separately.
