With children it is better to celebrate the New Year's holiday at home in a not too noisy company and without people unfamiliar to the guys. If the child is already about 2 years old - he is a full participant in the celebration. With him you can make New Year crafts. Decorate the room and the Christmas tree with garlands, rain, homemade fishnet snowflakes, lanterns made of colored cardboard. However, it is better to not get the brave ornaments.
If you have a children's company at home, take care that they have their own play area and a festive table. The holiday certainly will not do without games and competitions, so for all participants and the more winners prepare in advance incentive souvenirs. - Never force children to tell or show something in public. Organizing a New Year's holiday at home, take into account the nature and personal wishes of children. Even a brave child can burst into tears. He can have a fear of public speaking.
- Creating a fabulous New Year's image, remember that for the most part carnival costumes are made of cheap synthetics. Children in them can complain about unpleasant smells, overheat, sometimes start to itch. And on kids it is generally not recommended to put on bulky clothes, even if elegant with shiny ornaments.
- Masks, contrary to popular belief, are very inconvenient for children. They completely cover the face, interfere with the review. It is better to give preference to half-masks: they are much more convenient and not hot at all.

We make a postcard together with the child
Joint crafts have a beneficial effect not only on the development of children, but also on the mood. You can make a New Year's card from anything - you just have to give free rein to your imagination. The standard set for making postcards is as follows: colored cardboard, colored paper, old postcards (from which you can cut out the details you like), glue, markers or pencils, sequins, beads, ribbons and other ornaments, scissors. If your child is very small, then make with him cards with a handprint. You will need: white gouache, colored paper for the cap, nose and eyes, colored cardboard.
Fold a thick sheet of colored paper in half - it's a postcard. Cut out the details for the application - the cap, nose and eyes. Pour the paint into the saucer so that the child's hand can fit freely into it. Put the palm down in the paint and print it in the center of the postcard - it's Santa Claus's beard. Wash your hands. Glue the cap from the red paper. Lower your finger into the white paint and print out the pompom on the cap, fur edge and eyes. Wash your hands. Put a new nose and eyes on the fresh paint. New Year's card is ready!
Safety regulations
Safety rules should be observed without fail! After all, we do not want the New Year's holiday for children at home to be overshadowed by an unpleasant event:
- Remember, young children may have an allergic reaction to the coniferous aroma of the tree. If the tree is artificial and flavors are used, the possibility of allergy increases. If with the advent of the Christmas tree in the house, children begin to sneeze and (or) cough - try to remove the spruce (pine) in the next room. And if this does not help, you'll have to take the tree out into the street.
- Try to explain the rules of safety to children before the New Year.
- If the baby does not walk yet, but already creeps, put New Year's fir tree higher.
- Fix the Christmas tree very well - regardless of the age of the children.
- Hang glass balls above, and below you place safe toys.
- Remove the garland wires as far as possible from the children's eyes.
- Near the tree, do not light Bengal lights and candles.
- Do not leave the child for one second in the room where the Christmas tree is. The children are very curious!
- If the child is sick, it helps taking peppermint infusion. 1 tbsp. Pour mint into warmed dishes and pour 200 ml of boiling water. Infuse, well wrapped, 30 minutes. Strain. Drink 0,5-1 tablespoons. 5-6 times a day without fail in a warm form! Cold infusion can act on the mucosa of the esophagus and stomach irritatingly and provoke a vomitive reflex. Infusion of mint can be prepared in advance.
