Human life is an important stage

By what signs can a person understand that it's time to change something? After all, a person's life is an important stage, and simply changing something does not seem simple.

Although everything is individual, there are some common indicators: whether you are pleased with your name, age, what mood you wake up in the morning, what thoughts come to your mind, are there people with whom it's nice to just shut up, stay together, do you have any desires. If the desire disappears - this is a 100% reason to change something.

Another important indicator of a person's life - an important stage - is depression. One German specialist presented an interesting image of depression in the form of an elderly woman who came, went to the table and wants to say something, but is silent. Indeed, just so depression does not arise. This is our reaction to wrong attitudes, actions, a way of life that is alien to us. If you listen to depression, understand what it is about, then it's possible to change something. But this change must be very gentle and cautious - to radically change work, to leave the family, to reject what you rely on, in this state it is impossible.

You need to understand and hear the signals of a person's life - an important stage - to see who you are with - in a store, train, in line. Later, this person can influence your life. Do not give up offers, trips. Another important sign is illness. If a person goes in the wrong way, does not fulfill his mission, very often he is overtaken by illness - to correct, give an opportunity to think and rethink a person's life is an important stage.

By the way, people often need to either "get sick" or "get into a dramatic situation" in order to "reboot" - then suddenly priorities change. A person understands that all his principles, fears, attitudes are nonsense and it's time to change something. One patient of mine managed to recover from cancer by means of changes, but for this he had to say: "I will not do more than one minute of life what I do not want, and I will not stay in those relationships that I do not want."

And he really did a lot - changed jobs, family and soon healed.

What can prevent changes in life?

The most terrible enemy is disbelief in oneself and in oneself. These states psychologists call sabotage games "Sabotage" ("it's not time yet, so why change something") and "Pessimist" ("I still do not get it"). People who like to play them are advised to recall the company's slogan ("Just do it!").

Most often we are restrained by the desire for elementary stability. After all, the world around is changing at a frantic pace, we are forced to constantly adapt to something new. And the small category of people who have already received this stability, is afraid of losing it. Another stopper is the fear of stepping on the terra incognito, to where you have not been yet, and there to be ignorant, to encounter feelings that you did not even suspect. One change always entails a transformation of the whole system. She resists, because, having begun to change, she can disappear in her former form. So a person is afraid to lose his identity, stop being himself. Why is it so difficult to change habits? Because without smoking (without coffee, without a complex character), it's not really us anymore. Quitting smoking, losing weight, a person will no longer have any excuses. He will have to take responsibility for his life, get used to other relationships, change the environment.

How to start changing?

To proceed to something new, while the old is not completed, is difficult. Unfinished situations are like open windows on the monitor that are not used. And the more open, the stronger the computer hangs. It's the same with people - such situations draw energy - we begin to "hang." Therefore, to take on a new need when you are done with the old. For this, one can imagine in imagination a forbidden room in which unfulfilled desires are stored, and carry out their revision. Those who died are worth letting go. Others are still warm, you can work with them, try to understand what they are doing. Such an audit can help to realize one significant of this. I sometimes instruct clients on a leaflet to draw a person's life - an important stage up to the present and in the future. And on the segment of the future indicate what I would like to have time to accomplish. The next step is to become responsible for your life, understand and accept that some changes entail others. After that, start acting, because life is not infinite. Therefore, having decided to do something, act. Having decided to change, you should ask yourself three questions:

What do I need and can I change? What do I want to achieve? By what means, what actions and by what date?

Having responded to them, proceed to drawing up an action plan and follow it clearly. When the goal is defined in time and in specific actions, then it already motivates and controls you, and not you. There are two opposite approaches to understanding change. The first is when they are implemented in stages. Agree, it is difficult for one sitting to eat a huge elephant. But this does not mean that you should not set yourself the task of eating it - just biting it off every day, and there will not be a crumb for a year.

But not every change can be done in this way - it is impossible to jump over the gap for two times. Therefore, you need to concentrate and jump over one. There is no general rule how to distinguish one from another. You just need to realize that there are such types of changes and, depending on this, act. For example, if you want to change attitudes, you'll have to eat an elephant in stages, and if you break - then prepare to jump over the abyss.

Outside help - a psychologist, trainings can help you understand yourself and change your life for the better?

Quite often it helps - not because people are supposedly helpless. Simply, many of us need an external stimulus, a catalyst. From my own experience I know that after my trainings on leadership and personal growth, unusually high-quality jumps and changes in pupils were observed. If the desire for change ripens in you, but you can not grope for what you should begin with, a specialist can help to do this. The main thing is to remember that psychologists and methods are very different. Therefore, if any of them did not help you, be sure to find another one. Focus on, first and foremost, on true professionals with extensive work experience. Again, for each of us, our methods and approaches are good. Art therapy will do one thing, conversations for another.

Some believe that it's enough to change the scenery, and everything will change at once.

Is it really getting rid of trash and the proper organization of living space that can lead to significant changes in a person's life - an important stage? Everything is very individual. It probably works if the person himself firmly believes in the result. Although without a psychological attitude and without work on yourself is not enough. It is important to listen to yourself. If you need to repaint steps to move forward - do it.

A holy place is never empty. Therefore, one must be able to get rid of old things, get rid of them in time. After all, they require care, take place. But not only. Having learned to throw away trash in time, you can accustom yourself and get rid of unnecessary desires, habits, connections in a timely manner. After all, the habit of this can not be formed at the psychological level - only on elementary actions.

As for the correct organization of space and the popular flow of feng shui, symbolization plays an important role here. For example, having acquired a figurine that allegedly attracts wealth, and putting it in the right angle, a person becomes more sensitive and better captures signals from outside. In this state, he certainly will not miss the opportunities that promise him a profit. The symbol helps us to open up, as if opening our eyes to what is happening.

How is the image change displayed on our internal state?

Without inner self-perception, no external change of image will make you different.

Here again we can talk about symbolization. For someone, repainting hair is an ordinary situation, for someone - a symbol of a new life. Everyone decides for themselves. Indeed, someone new nose is not able to make happy. But it also happens that an insignificant detail for most, for example, a new manicure or an expensive scarf, completely changes the attitude of the owner: he has a completely different state of mind, he otherwise turns his head, walks. And the surrounding unconsciously catch this change, read the signs of the body. And there it is not far and to the fateful changes.
