Children in the movies - in general, a separate story. People who drive their smartly dressed, combed kids with pretty faces and invoice eyes to screen tests, do not know what they're on. Sasha got a heavy role even for an adult. According to the story line, the hero is a clogged animal, wiped by a mad grandmother, a boy who has gone into himself a little man. A small actor was also shooting in very difficult conditions.


For example , the director Sergei Snezhkin categorically forbade me - I played Sasha's mother - and Svetlana Kryuchkova, brilliantly performed the role of grandmother, communicate with the boy and even approach him. Children after all can not falsify in life, it's hard for them to portray real loneliness and humiliation. Therefore, any support for a small artist was excluded. With Sasha initially used the favorite method of filmmakers - they fed the poor child with mustard.

And it was necessary to remove several takes. Of course, the moment came when Sasha was brought another spoonful of mustard, and the child began to ache: "Only not mustard! I'll pay myself! "But" himself ", alas, did not work.


There is another cute little thing for tears - a menthol pencil. They smear mucous eyes - and Yaroslavna's crying is secured! The pain is so tearful that tears splatter the fountain.

When the poor boy, who had no idea what this pencil was, said the word "menthol", he agreed. The main thing, he believed, was to get rid of mustard. We, the adult actors, were terribly sympathetic to him, because unlike him we knew - from the menthol the eye simply turned inside out.

And I looked at my mother Sasha, who was present at the site. To look at her was scary: the woman sat motionless, with a face of a light green hue. I thought what horror was happening now in her soul, and wondered how she would act in her place ... Grasp the child in an armful and shout: "Send you with your movie!" Is already impossible. Half of the film is taken, only one thing remains - to watch how your child is suffering from pain for the sake of a good movie.

... You know, memory is an incredibly bizarre thing. I looked at Sasha's distorted face, and I remembered my childhood story. The fact is that I know firsthand what the taste of mustard is, especially ... when you are small, and there are a lot of it. I gnawed at my nails. I was four when my mother decided to disaccustom me from this business. Conversations about how ugly pretty girl to walk with such fingers, how many microbes live under the marigolds, did not help. It required "mechanical ablation". The way she chose the most folk - she smeared my fingers with mustard. By the way, it should be noted that Lydia Fedoseyeva-Shukshina - my mother is not at all harsh. She just understood: if you do not stop everything now, do not see me a manicure at a later age ... Alas, in my childhood I and my bad habit defeated my mother with her folk medicine. It was disgusting to make mustard like that, but I did it! My nails are gnawing to this day ...


Even close- ups in the movie Shukshin do not stop much, because there are wonderful people - make-up artists. A couple of times in my life, when I played status ladies, I had to nail up my nails. I did not like this procedure, I did not experience a drop of manicure for a long time, therefore the publications that the yellow press once broke out frankly amused me. They wrote that Ksenia Sobchak increased her lips, and Maria Shukshina, whose personal life was not enough to create happiness in her life, increased her nails. I can not stand all the fake, nails, including!

Still I somewhere subtracted, that on complexity of a trade we go at once behind surgeons. That is, the patient, the doctor - everything is close. Black is such a joke.

... There is always a people on the court, but for the first time I was shooting in the stage, after working off, which was filled with deathly silence. Nobody could say a word. There was some unreal numbness, which is not clear where it came from, because people who were there, understood: it's just a movie, a fantasy, a myth.

Svetlana Nikolaevna got into resuscitation twice during the shooting period. Heart ... She missed through herself a truly terrible story - the story of the killing love of a mentally abnormal woman. We waited for her to return from the hospital, prayed that everything would work out.


Sasha was played in an adult way in life. In place of parents, I would once again thought whether to give the child to act in a dramatic movie ... In me in such situations, always a professional struggles with his mother. That is, on the one hand, it would be a shame to not get such a bright boy in the partners who was chosen from 500 other children. On the other hand, my feelings are contradictory. But Sasha was given the whole nightmare simply because of, probably, the flexibility of the child's psyche. He practiced the laid and went to his corner to play toys.

Maria did not teach anyone the actor's skill, everything that is, came with experience. Therefore, during the takes in place of Sasha I represented my own younger children. Makar, it seems to me, already a man of another age category, Anya - generally adult, so I imagined Thomas and Foku. I think if I had no children of my own, this role might not work. Children live in the country, because in any case it is more reasonable than the gasified Moscow. Before the crisis, there was a lot of work, without any breath, literally. I saw Foma and Foka infrequently. Of course, I was bored and worried. Maria remembered this sadness on the court. Here it is, an amazing convention: my children in the country and daddy, and the nanny, the cute boy Sasha - crazy grandmother and an inert grandfather, and the mother's longing for not having the opportunity to see their children has the same nature. Tosca, as it seems to me, is generally one, the first, and it is the last. Only in the case of a movie you have to warm it up, as it should, many times mentally stepping on your favorite corn. Therefore, actors appreciate the experience, especially the one connected with suffering. Because you can apply it well afterwards. Yes, cruelly. But this is what our profession is built on.

Last summer we filmed a documentary about the life of the pope, and it was during this period that my children were prescribed an operation to remove adenoids. I was very worried that I could not be near Foma and Foka, but to interrupt the shooting, there was not even a question. This would greatly complicate the lives of other members of the crew, disrupt the schedule, bring producers. In this sense, I'm terribly disciplined. And my children probably learned to live as I once did. Probably fate. I saw my famous parents very rarely. And, frankly, I do not have any childhood memories of Mom and Dad ...


- Maria, and you most easily cry for the movie?

- I have more problems in life with how to not cry in the frame. The program "Wait for me", which I lead, is sometimes psychologically given very difficult. Bark it is impossible - makeup will flow, you can not blow your nose - there will be a marriage by sound, and so on. So I try to keep myself in hand. Only once behaved unprofessionally. There was such a plot ... We wrote a woman who was looking for her two-year-old son. In general, the stories about the lost children are for me always the most terrible. And this woman told me how they went with the father of the baby on the train. There was a quarrel. The man grabbed a two-month-old child and ran out with him to the platform. She has not seen her son since. In parallel, we wrote a man who also told of a quarrel on the train. Only he lost the baby. Running on the platform with the baby, the man felt that he was losing consciousness. He became ill, someone called an ambulance, a child was taken from him by a stranger ... It turned out that both these people in life are looking for the same boy. We started looking for a woman who then took part in the fate of the baby. Found. She confessed that she had placed him on the windowsill in the same place, at the station, and had not seen him again ... The boy was in one of the orphanages, but lawyers and caretakers did not hurry to take him to our transfer. The baby was just preparing for the adoption procedure. All the papers from his foster parents were collected, and if everything had turned out, the real mother and father would never have found it!


The educator of the orphanage then showed our heroine several children's photographs and invited her to find her own one. Children at this age are very different, and my heart pounded - will she be able to know her son? .. The woman was terribly nervous, for ten minutes she was sorting photos of the boys. The tension in the studio was such that it seemed the ceiling would collapse. I was shaking. And she did! I found out, despite the fact that more than a year has passed. When the podium was taken out of a small culprit, I could not stand it - I burst into tears and ran out.
