- flour - 1/4 Cups (sprinkling)
- brown sugar - 1/4 Cups (sprinkling)
- cinnamon - 1/2 Teaspoons (sprinkling)
- chilled butter - 3 st. spoons (sprinkling)
- flour - 1 cup
- sugar - 1 st. a spoon
- baking powder - 1 teaspoon
- soda - 1/2 teaspoonfuls
- salt - 1/4 teaspoons
- Buttermilk - 3/4 Cups
- egg - 1 piece
- butter - 2 items. spoons
- maple syrup - 1 st. a spoon
- vanilla extract - 1/2 teaspoonfuls
- sugar powder - 1/2 Cups (glaze (optional))
- milk - 1 1/2 teaspoons (glaze (optional))
- vanilla extract - 1/4 teaspoons (glaze (optional))
1. Make a sprinkle. Cut the butter into pieces. In a medium bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cinnamon and butter. Mix all the ingredients together with a dough cutter or fork until the mixture looks like sand. Leave aside. 2. Make muffins. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Lubricate the oil for muffins. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt. Set aside. Melt butter and cool to room temperature. In a small bowl, mix the buttermilk, eggs, butter, maple syrup and vanilla extract. Make a groove in the flour mixture and add the egg mixture, stir. 3. Place the cooked dough in a pastry bag and fill the mold sections with 3/4. 4. Sprinkle the muffins on top. Bake for 8-9 minutes. Allow the muffins to cool in the form for 2 minutes, then allow to cool completely on the grill on parchment paper. 5. Make the icing. In a small bowl, mix all the ingredients together. 6. Pour over the glaze with warm muffins and serve immediately.
