Ode to Motherhood from Dolce & Gabbana at the Milan Fashion Week

The shows of the designer duet Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana invariably arouse a keen interest among the discerning audience of the Italian fashion Week. Here and this time their show called Viva la Mamma, which does not even need a translation, attracted a lot of spectators. And, I must say, those who did not attend the Dolce & Gabbana show to other events of the Milan Fashion Week and their plans did not fail - the spectacle was amazing.

Traditionally, Domenico and Stefano in their work pay tribute to the culture of Sicily and family values, and in the last collection they concentrated on the center of any family - on the mother. And to show motherhood in all its glory, designers in the forefront of the catwalk brought to the podium these mothers with their children. And "the parade commanded" the charming muse Dolce and Gabbana - the pregnant Bianka Balti.

This time the collection of Dolce & Gabbana turned out to be especially feminine. Among the models there were not any trousers - only dresses, skirts with blouses and tops, raincoats and coats - all very bright, with shiny decoration, floral prints and applications, embroidered with flowers and lace.

Some outfits were decorated with original large prints or paintings in the style of children's drawings. I must say that the designers were inspired by the works of the hand of little nephew Domenico Dolce, so he can be called a co-author of the collection. And if you really are to the end frank, you need to mention one more muse of designers - this is Stefano Gabbana's mom. Her red lipstick with the smell of a rose not only became the prototype of all the lipsticks of the beauty lines of the duet (at least in the fragrance part), but also gave the new collection a symbol - a scarlet rose that adorned clothes and shoes and accessories this time.
