Autumn is a "pumpkin" season. The wonderful aroma and golden color of the pumpkin gives a special piquancy to juicy meatballs, turning an ordinary dish into an exquisite treat.
Ingredients:
- minced meat - 0,4 - 0,5 kg
- broth - 0.4 ml
- tomatoes canned or tomato sauce - 1 can
- ½ medium pumpkin
- 1 onion
- garlic - 4 cloves
- lemon - 1 pc.
- egg yolks - 2 pcs.
- Salt, olive oil - to taste
Cooking method:
- Finely chop half a bulb and two cloves of garlic. Fry in a saucepan or saucepan with olive oil for a few minutes
- When the onion becomes transparent, add broth and tomatoes. Boil
- Peel the pumpkin, remove the pulp, cut into slices. Add the slices to the boiled sauce. Cook until the pumpkin is soft
- Cut the remaining onions and garlic, grate the lemon peel
- Mix in the bowl minced meat, garlic, onions, lemon zest and two yolks. Salt to taste
- Form meatballs and fry them from all sides in olive oil
- Put the meatballs in hot sauce, serve with fresh bread
