I can advise you to buy a village chicken to cut it into several pieces and put it in packages and in the freezer. As necessary, cook the first dishes from chicken pieces. We like light soup with chicken broth and rice. It does not use roast. Chicken boiled with onions and carrots. Alternatively, the onions can be cut in half and fried to black in a dry pan and then put in water - this will give an interesting taste and shade to the broth. And also one more way - to put onions without cleaning it. Remove the outer layers, cut off the root and put them in the water with the husk - the broth will have a more golden hue. No spices (bay leaves, peppers, etc.), I do not use, so as not to "clog" the unique taste of chicken broth. To make the broth tasty products should be poured with cold water, then as the juices of the products are heated, they will go into the water. In this dish dill is preferable to parsley. Soup can be served to the table immediately. Do not add more rice, as during the night it swells more strongly and it will already be porridge.
Ingredients:- Chicken 300g
- Round-grained rice 90 g
- Onions 1 pc.
- Carrot 1 pc.
- Potatoes 3 pcs.
- Water 1.7 ml
- Dill dry 5 g
- Salt 1 tsp.
- Step 1 Chicken unfrozen, if it is frozen. Rinse. Carrots clean. And also prepare rice, dill and potatoes.
- Step 2 Put meat, onions and carrots in a saucepan, add cold water. Salt. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cook for 50 minutes.
- Step 3 Peel the potatoes and cut them in small slices about the same size.
- Step 4 When the chicken is cooked and the broth is ready to take out the meat and vegetables on the plate. In a hot broth put the potatoes, bring to a boil, put the washed rice. Bring to a boil again, cook over a low heat until the potatoes and rice are ready (about 25 minutes).
- Step 5 Slightly chopped carrots finely chopped.
- Step 6 Remove the chicken meat from the bone and also chop it finely. Cooked onions I do not use further.
- Step 7 5 minutes before the readiness to place the meat and chopped vegetables back into the pan. Try to salt, add if necessary. Bring to a boil, season with dill. Remove from heat.
