Pearl barley with mushrooms Pear sauce is a dish from boiled pearl barley. Such cereal contains proteins, starch, B vitamins, vitamin A, E, D, iron, calcium, copper, iodine, phosphorus, as well as a large amount of lysine. Many somehow underestimate the pearl porridge, but, as you can see, it is very useful! As for me, pearl barley is as good as plain with butter, and with ralic additives, as in this recipe, supplemented with fried fresh white mushrooms, onions, sweet pepper and carrots. Porridge is a hearty, fragrant, with a variety of flavor palette!
Ingredients:- Groats pearl barley 5.5 tbsp. l.
- Onions 1 pc.
- Pepper sweet 1 pc.
- Carrot 1 pc.
- Mushrooms white 180 g
- Butter 40 g
- Olive oil 3 tbsp. l.
- Salt 1 tsp.
- Parsley fresh 0.1 bunch
- Step 1 To make porridge porridge with porcini mushrooms and vegetables, we need pearl barley, fresh ceps, onions, sweet peppers, carrots, butter, salt, fresh parsley, olive oil.
- Step 2 First we put a pot of water on the fire, when it boils - salt water and pour the pearl barley. The ratio of cereals and water, as well as cooking time, is on the package. Our goal is to get a completely ready crumbly pear gruel! Meanwhile we clean onion and carrots, my pepper and ceps, cut vegetables and mushrooms (carrots and sweet pepper with straws, mushrooms with plates, and onions in small cubes).
- Step 3 Fry in a small amount of olive oil ceps, a little after adding them during cooking.
- Step 4 Add carrots, onions, peppers.
- Step 5 Stir, fry until the vegetables are ready.
- Step 6 We pour the boiled pearl barley to the vegetables (if there is water, merge it). Add the butter.
- Step 7 Stir, put on a slow fire and warm up about 3 minutes under the lid, stir again and you can serve to the table, be sure to decorate the green perthushki!
