- olive oil - 1/2 cups (quality)
- pine nuts - 1/2 cup
- lemon - 1/2 Pieces (juice only)
- a package of fresh basil - 1 piece (or 2 generous handfuls)
- grated parmesan cheese - 1/2 cup
- black pepper - 10 pinch
Measure 1/2 cup of quality olive oil. Prepare a couple of generous handfuls of fresh basil (what a smell!). Now put 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan, 1/2 cup of nuts, squeeze lemon juice into the blender, add basil leaves, salt, pepper and pour 1/4 cup of olive oil. Whip until such an acid-green) paste. You can also add feta cheese and tomatoes to the sauce, all for your taste.
