Each of them has many sub-items, which we will consider later. So, the topic of our article: "Socio-psychological problems of the family with an alcoholic."

Why did we choose this complex topic for consideration and analysis: the socio-psychological problems of a family with an alcoholic? For the reasons that alcoholism badly affects not only the sick individual, but also more on the family, so now alcoholism is considered a family illness. In order to draw conclusions, and better to find out everything about the disease, consider such items as the concept of the disease itself, the causes of its occurrence, consequences for the individual and for the family as a whole.

Alcoholism is a disease in which an individual abuses alcohol, and at the same time has already discovered several consequences, both biological and psychological-social. Previously, when alcohol only arose in ancient cultures, it was used to conduct ancient rituals purely symbolically, while using low-alcohol drinks. Then the disease began to develop, when such a link of society as the bourgeoisie appeared, and people began to avoid everyday problems. To this day, the problem of alcoholism is only exacerbating, maybe this is the weapon that we ourselves kill our people from within.

As the main cause of alcoholism, many singled out the euphoric action that occurs after taking alcohol. After all, in weak doses, it helps to relax, cheer, become bolder, overcome some psychological difficulties. In addition, the causes of alcoholism can be divided into two groups: the factors that influence the occurrence of alcoholism and its development in the individual, as well as the reasons that contribute to its development in the social environment.

Among the main causes of the emergence of alcoholism as a disease, there will be such: socio-genetic (features of social conditions and attitudes of people), psychological, as an indicator of the socio-psychological insolvency of the individual, the underdevelopment of its moral system and internal problems in relation to itself. Genetic causes imply a predisposition to the disease, due to the fact that alcoholism is a hereditary disease. Also share a number of biological causes, which consist in the human need for the relevant substances, its dependence on them, etc.

One of the reasons is also the alcoholization of today's society, alcoholism in most cases is perceived as something due, not having important consequences. People are getting more and more accustomed to this, the age of alcoholism is decreasing, in the long run we see that alcoholism can occur in ... children. Do we want such a future? The disease itself is not only psychological but also biological dependence, a drug, and also a factor of high egocentric and psychological non-communication. The alcoholic, in most cases, is a person who selfishly escapes from reality, drinking, changing the reality of his and his loved ones, satisfying his needs, despite the requests of others.

Alcoholism involves a number of negative consequences of a different nature, both biological and social, psychological. In addition, the damage extends to a very large number of people, since the alcoholic creates problems not only for himself, but also for his future children, the family and the environment that he now has, also for his country. The only one who benefits from alcoholism is his producer, because it is known that producing alcohol is a very good business.

If we single out the social and psychological-social causes of alcoholism, their consequences will be kept within these two groups. In general, it is a series of psychological, social, medical and legal consequences. With the use of alcohol, criminality multiplies, and its obvious feature is the direction of a personal nature. Alcoholism itself ranks third with causes of death, destroys the body, the nervous system; the psychological harm of alcoholism is simply enormous. The consequences will be the economic losses from alcoholism, a decrease in life expectancy, a decrease in working capacity and various skills, an increase in health care costs, an increase in crime, a violation of relations with others, conflicts.

The socio-psychological problems of the family with an alcoholic will be very important. Alcoholism leads to divorce, conflict, disharmony of the family, violation of relationships, stress, neuroses, codependence of members of the alcoholic family. What is the co-dependence of family members, among whom is an alcoholic? Low self-esteem, denial of one's own problems, loss of control over the patient's life, and over his own. Alcoholism destroys the life and future family of your child, when you reach the age of 65-80 percent of your sons become alcoholics or drug addicts. For girls, the ratio is less, but they are more influenced by society. For children, alcoholism of parents is especially painful and can lead to psychological disturbance, at best - to constant stresses and neuroses. Alcoholics themselves are more likely to suffer from depression, in addition, they are much more likely to get psychological affective disorders.

Take care of yourself and your family, do not succumb to the influence of alcohol and help others around you. Perhaps in the future, through joint efforts, we will be able to overcome this problem.
