Bulgarian soup Tarator is a dish of Bulgarian cuisine. And although they call this dish "soup", it is not eaten as the first dish. Most often it is served to kebabs on the grill, meat, cutlets. Cucumbers for a tarator are finely cut or rubbed. Sometimes walnuts are added to the moulder at will. Yogurt can be replaced with sour milk. Sometimes the tarator is poured into a glass and served together with a second dish.
Ingredients:- Cucumber 1 pc.
- Fresh dill 1 bunch
- Garlic 3 denticles
- Yoghurt 500 ml
- Water 500 ml
- Salt 1 tsp.
- Sunflower refined sunflower oil 3 tbsp. l.
- Step 1 To prepare the tarator we need a cucumber, natural yoghurt (unsweetened), a small bunch of dill, garlic, salt, ice water.
- Step 2 Wash the cucumber. If the skin is hard, and the seeds are large - remove. Grate cucumber on grater
- Step 3 Add finely chopped dill.
- Step 4 Add the salt, passed through the garlic press. Mix. Leave for 30 minutes.
- Step 5 Add the yogurt and vegetable oil.
- Step 6 Add ice water. Mix. The tator is ready!
