Natural flower pollen is a precious component of some plants. The composition and smell is not the same as essential oils from the same plants. Flower pollen is contained in the water phase (it can be said, "lymph") of the plant and contains special hydrophilic components that are not soluble in oil, and therefore not found in essential oils. Many biologically active substances are contained in the flower phase, we can not get them from extracts or dried grass: only from a freshly planted plant or from its flower pollen.
What is flower pollen? This is not a decoction at all, as one can sometimes hear. Pollen is extracted from inflorescences or whole plants by steam distillation or distillation. Distillation is also used for "forcing out" essential oils, and pollen is extracted after all the oil is extracted. The steam that forms, and then settles inside the distillation apparatus - is the future flower pollen. In cosmetology it is used as an independent agent or added to creams, lotions, etc. as a pollen base. To create the most famous among the flower pollen - pink, as well as for cornflower, orange blossom, only petals are used. Lavender, chamomile, sage, yarrow, melissa, verbena pollen are made from the entire aboveground part of the plant.

All flower pollen are equally useful for our body, but each has also special healing properties of flower pollen:
