In a large saucepan with boiling salted water boil the dumplings for 2 minutes less than indicated in the instructions. Add peas, boil the tortellini until cooked, until the peas become soft, 2 minutes. Drain and lay 1 cup of liquid. Put aside tortellini and peas. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add the garlic, cook until the fragrance appears, for about 1 minute. Remove the garlic. Add the tortellini and peas, parmesan and 3/4 cup of liquid to the pan, season with salt and pepper. Mix. Add more water if necessary. Serve with parmesan cheese.
