Belozor marsh blooms in the second half of summer - around August 2 (Ilin day), for which it is also called Il'inskaya grass. Also this plant is known under such names as cereal grass, frog, single leaf, marshwort, mink, white-berry, etc.
The Belozor marsh grows almost all over Russia. As its name implies, it can hardly be found in arid regions, because the main places of its distribution are bogged forests, ditches, banks of rivers and streams, marshy meadows, wet meadows and even tundra. Most of all the white-eye grows in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Application of the marsh
All parts of the belozor are used in non-traditional medicine. They contain such biologically active and useful substances as flavonoids, alkaloids, tannins, carbohydrates and saponins. In addition, the plant includes the following minerals: iron, tin, nickel, zinc, titanium, copper, vanadium, strontium, molybdenum, barium, boron and manganese. However, despite such a rich composition, Belozor is not used in official medicine.
Useful properties of the bog wool were identified by scientists in an experimental way. Among its properties are the following: vasoconstrictor, calming and laxative action, wound healing, improvement of urination, regulation of cardiovascular and nervous systems, promotes bile production, restores intestinal activity, stops bleeding.
According to the doctors, the main reason why Belosor is not used in medicine is the lack of knowledge of its active substances. In addition, this plant is poisonous, so it should be used with great care.

It can also be used for hypertension and various heart diseases. Another property of the Belozor is getting rid of an unreasonable fear, relieving anxiety and arousal, the ability to calm the heartbeat. Folk healers prescribed it for hemoptysis and various types of bleeding, kidney, liver, bladder, edema, enterocolitis and colitis.
The Belosor showed a special efficiency for various kinds of gynecological problems: profuse monthly, omission of the uterus, to facilitate the separation of the placenta after childbirth. Gonorrhea and pains in the bladder were also treated with a white eye.
Recipes of infusions and broths of the marsh
Heart disease and hypertension. 1 tsp. herb belozor poured 250 ml of boiling water, infused 2 hours, filtered. The drug should be taken 3-4 times a day for 1 tbsp. l.
Female diseases. Dried flowers of whiteness pour 400 ml of boiling water and insist for 1 hour. Filtered infusion take 1 tsp. up to 6 times a day.
Diseases of the kidneys, liver and gastrointestinal tract. 2 tsp. grass or Belorussian root pour 300 ml of boiling water and cook for about 5 minutes. Then let it brew for 2 hours. Take the filtered product 3-4 times a day for 1 tbsp. l.
Application of white marsh grass seeds
Seeds of Belozor are also actively used for therapeutic purposes. Traditional medicine advises the use of decoctions and infusions from seeds as a diuretic for diseases such as urolithiasis, urinary retention and prostate adenoma. For example, Tibetan healers use plant flowers for this purpose, and the powder from them is added to other means.
To prepare the broth from the seeds of the swamp belorus, pour 1 tsp. their 200 ml of boiling water and no more than 30 minutes, warm in a water bath or a small fire. Then let the broth cool for 10 minutes and, after straining, use after eating for a week for 1 tbsp. l. 3 times a day.
Very effective in arrhythmia in folk healers considered the following prescription of the infusion of the belozor: 25 g of chopped herbs pour 500 ml of vodka, insist 14 days in a dark place, shaking the bottle periodically. After straining the infusion obtained, take 30 drops 3-4 times a day.
Broths and tinctures of the belozor can be applied externally in the form of compresses and lotions. The infusion of the white man will perfectly cope with such eye diseases as conjunctivitis, blepharitis, etc. And the plant juice or its crushed leaves are effective for healing wounds.
Contraindications for the use of the marsh
As we said earlier, Belozor belongs to poisonous plants, so it should be used cautiously. Preparing and using infusions and broths of the belozor is desirable under the supervision of a specialist. It is forbidden to use these drugs for bradycardia, excessive blood clotting, low blood pressure and pregnancy.
