Active recreation area at the cottage

"Go yourself to your dacha, but there's nothing for me to do there!" - declares the grown up child. But what to do, if the camp, where it is guaranteed to be interesting, does not have enough money, and to rest somewhere is necessary? Try to turn the dacha into a place where the child will go with pleasure! Do everything to ensure that the active rest area at the dacha was pleasant to the child and the child happily spent time there.

Love for this or that kind of rest is a vivid illustration of the individuality of the child, his tastes and preferences. Also important are the age features, considering that you can make your summer life very, very interesting for the child.

First, let's try to understand what exactly the child does not like in the country. First of all, this is the absence of "dacha" friends. It is in our childhood in the city that almost no one was hanging out in the summer: the children were sent to trade union camps, the grandparents lived in the villages, to which we struggled "to freedom." The second point: our entertainment in the city and in the countryside did not differ so much - both here and here we played hide-and-seek, Cossack robbers and other outdoor games. Modern children spend a lot of time at the computer and in front of the TV, which in the country can be deprived. Therefore, the question of the alternative immediately arises: how can the child be interested in the world "out of the screen"? So, let's make an audit of the most incendiary dacha entertainment and try to rebuild the country life so that the children were not bored.

6-8 years

At this age, most children need to communicate with peers, but they do not know how to get acquainted, because in modern conditions do not feel it necessary. The shortage of free time affects: now most of the children at this age are engaged in lessons and extra-curricular activities - acquaintances in their environment take place in such institutions, and not in "free flight". Therefore, your task is to find a baby company. Usually the center of the summer life is a pond or a river. Communicate with holidaymakers on the beach by other families, invite them to visit. Any parent will meet you, because he has the same problems with his child.

A good option is to invite to your dacha a friend of the same age: a nephew, a friend from school or a garden. At this age, with two children, there will be little more problems than with one, because they are not babies that need to be driven by the handle.

About what will be engaged in the younger generation away from your favorite TV and computer, it is better to think in advance in the active recreation area at the cottage. Try to captivate the idea of creating a colorful album of country life. Buy an inexpensive camera, print selected frames, help decorate the album with dried leaves and flowers.

A great idea is a children's dacha theater. In the afternoon, the guys will learn the text, make costumes and scenery, and in the evening perform in front of adults. And someone who has already mastered the camera, you can appoint a "correspondent". An original homemade newspaper devoted to the performance is an excellent memory of unusual summer vacations.

9-12 years old

Children of this age, compulsory acquaintance with their peers can be annoying. But if you just be friends with families, then the children will be drawn into communication. The council to invite a friend to the dacha here is still relevant. You will make life easier for yourself and for other parents.

Coming up entertainment for children "preadolescent" age, you need to remember about their features. These children seem to be very much older in something, and in something quite small. On the one hand, they are discussing adult issues with enthusiasm and seriousness from divorce to car prices, on the other - they still believe in fairy tales. Help the children organize something that will satisfy their need to grow up and live in a fantasy world at the same time. First of all, it is a personal household. Both girls and boys at this age will gladly agree to live at the dacha if they have their own territory there, which they can equip to their own taste. At the disposal of children, you can give a shed or a shed and let them do whatever they want. To allocate them paints, building materials, fabrics and, most importantly, not to teach life, but only to answer questions, if they arise. Corruption of all used materials is guaranteed, but such a project can draw children for a long time.

Do not underestimate the ability of children to grow something themselves. Yes, they hate to weed the grandmother's beds, but their own zucchini or a miracle flower is interesting. You can organize a competition of grandmother and granddaughter: who will have a stronger plant. Of course, the child needs to allocate the best plot in the garden, so that his success will be evident to him.

Also, the child can visually demonstrate the advantages of suburban life: for example, in the open air you can play games that are banned in the city apartment - jump "into the rubber bands", throw darts.

If you have a dog, then a child of this age can explain how important it is to be in nature. With a dog, a child can walk as much as he wants, and easily go in search of harmless adventures.

13-15 years old

At this age, to lure a child, all friends and entertainments of whom remain in the city, into an active recreation area at the dacha, and even for a long time, is almost impossible. Communication with peers is the main priority of adolescents, so if a child does not have a "summer company", he refuses to go out of town. With a company or just one friend, he will go to the dacha with pleasure, but only if he is given no less freedom than in the city.

Teenagers need a separate room. If the room, then isolated, and not through. At this age, the desire to have a personal space is so acute that many will agree ... even live in a tent. Cool and there is something to show off in front of city friends! Allow teens to do barbecues in the evening, build a bonfire, on warm nights with friends to spend the night in the hayloft. Discomfort does not frighten them - much more important is the night romance and freedom. If you can create the feeling that teenagers are left to themselves, you can easily keep them at the dacha.

Teenagers need to conquer new territories. It is necessary to allow them to sally out of the country. Many people like to ride an electric train, even for food, to get out on an excursion to a neighboring town or village. Learn to trust them!

If a teenager has a friend of his age at the dacha, but he still does not want to go there, find out what the problem is. Quite often the reason is the banal absence of common interests. Forcing a child to communicate all summer with strangers in spirit - wrong tactics. Remember - he is old enough to make such decisions himself.

If possible, provide the teenager with his usual entertainment: a computer and a game console can be taken with him, modern equipment can provide you and the "dacha" Internet. But all the same, do not forget: the main idea of rest as such is a change of habitual circumstances. A holiday home is a special story, wholly and entirely tied to the proximity to nature, and not to the fruits of civilization.

We learn easily and with pleasure!

It's no secret that many children are given an assignment for the summer. Basically, this is a home reading of classical literary works. Seat a child for a book during a "legitimate" vacation is not so easy. Try to play this lesson in one of the following ways:

- make a quiz on program works with prizes;

- Ask the child to come up with a continuation of the story and discuss it;

- Ask the child to transfer the events of the work to modern life (especially interesting for children 12-15 years old);

- Ask the child to retell the story on slang (unless, of course, you are ready to hear it and not condemn!). If the child lagged behind some of the objects, do not put it on the textbooks. Try to find fascinating literature on the subject, for example Perelman's "Entertaining Physics", Gasparov's "Entertaining Greece", etc., and slip these books when the child rests from school, that is; as a rule, not earlier than July.

And if you work?

Do not use your child as a low-skilled, low-skilled worker if he does not want to help you, otherwise you'll soon hear that he does not want to go to the dacha so that he does not "sweat".

Trust him with responsible work, reporting that it is difficult, for example, picking strawberries. The work will be of interest to the child if he receives his personal result from it, and not just "makes it for his mother." From strawberries, he can make mousse himself, arrange a "pirate's shelter" in a well-decorated shed to preserve his "booty", etc. Remember that many children like to go to the forest if they are fully integrated into the production chain: together with you will cook jam or salt mushrooms. And it is desirable, that the child has prepared, let one, but completely own jar. You can make a commemorative sticker on it.
