- Sliced yellow pumpkin - 4 cups
- Finely chopped onions - 1/2 cup
- Oily round crackers - 35 pieces
- Grated Cheddar cheese - 1 glass
- Eggs - 2 pieces
- Milk - 3/4 Glass
- Melted butter - 1/4 Cups
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Ground black pepper - 1 To taste
- Butter - 2 Art. spoons
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees C). Pump the pumpkin and onion into a large frying pan over medium heat. Pour a small amount of water. Cover and cook until the pumpkin is soft, about 5 minutes. Transfer to a large bowl. In a small bowl, mix the cracker and cheese. Add half to the cooked pumpkin with onions. In a small bowl, mix the eggs and milk, then add to the pumpkin. Add 1/4 cup melted butter and season with salt and pepper. Lubricate the baking dish. Sprinkle with the remaining cracker, put 2 tablespoons of butter. Bake in a preheated oven for 25 minutes or until lightly golden.
