Three in one Bulgur is a large-grinded grain of wheat. Slightly similar in appearance to the wheat we know. The bulgur differs in its special treatment of grain. Today we will prepare a lean dish - bulgur with vegetables. The recipe for making bulgur is quite simple. Pick a set of vegetables to taste and - act. We will cook bulgur with stewed peppers and marinated zucchini. I would call this recipe - "three in one". Each part of this recipe has the right to exist independently, but we will unite them and will not regret it. You will understand the combination of taste when you cook and taste this dish.
Ingredients:- Bulgur 150 g
- Water boiled 300 ml
- Salt 2 pinch
- Pepper sweet 2 pcs.
- Garlic 5 denticles
- Olive oil 40 ml
- Salt 2 g
- Curry 4 grams
- Zucchini 2 pcs.
- Lemon 0.5 pcs.
- Salt 2 g
- Garlic 4 denticles
- Olive oil 20 ml
- Cilantro fresh 20 g
- Step 1 To cook bulgur with vegetables, you need to take grits of bulgur, garlic, salt, curry tender, olive oil, water, Bulgarian peppers, red and green, young zucchini, half a lemon juice, green coriander or green basil.
- Step 2 Finely chop 5 cloves of garlic.
- Step 3 Throw the garlic in a saucepan with preheated oil, add the curry and hold on the fire, stirring for 2 minutes.
- Step 4 Wash bulgur in running water and pour into a saucepan to garlic and butter. Stir well to make the groats oily.
- Step 5 Pour in hot water, mix, cover the pan with a lid and leave on low heat for 20 minutes.
- Step 6 Cut the sweet peppers into small cubes.
- Step 7 Fry the pepper in a small amount of vegetable oil for 3-5 minutes. When the croup is cooked, add the pepper to the pan and mix. Remove from heat, cover the pan with a towel and leave to languish 10 minutes.
- Step 8 Meanwhile, cut into very thin strips of zucchini. Fold them in a deep bowl.
- Step 9 Add salt, garlic finely chopped, juice of half a lemon, greens of cilantro, (optional pepper). Cover and place in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
- Step 10 Serve bulgur in layers with pickled squash. It's very tasty to add Pesto sauce to this dish, but without cheese, since our dish is lean.
