Lenten festive menu
In order to make it easier for you to create a lean menu for a fast approaching holiday, we prepared three recipes. These dishes will decorate your festive table and will please the guests.
Salad with avocado and shrimps
Exotic and insanely tasty salad, easy to prepare, but very useful. Cook it simply and quickly, but the result will please you very much.
Ingredients
Take one at a time:
- Kiwi
- Avocado
- Cucumber
- The stalk of celery
Complete the list of products:
- Shrimp
- Basilica
- Lime juice or lemon juice
- Olive oil
- Some sesame seeds
- Salt to taste
The cooking process is quick and simple. All ingredients should be washed, cleaned and cut into small cubes.
Shrimp with boiling water, cleaned and mixed with everything else. Salad sprinkle with lime juice and pour with oil. Add salt, mix thoroughly and sprinkle abundantly with sesame seeds.
Vegetable vegetable ratatouille
This is a very popular dish that came into the world with a romantic Provence. To prepare it you will need a variety of vegetables.
Ingredients:
- Take two aubergines and zucchini
- Two onions
- Four tomatoes
- Three cloves of garlic
- 100 g of white dry wine
- 100 grams of hard cheese
- A tablespoon of sugar
- The same amount of lemon juice
- Greenery: basil, parsley
- Salt and pepper
The dish is very tasty, but it takes some time to prepare.
- Wash, cut into cubes eggplant and zucchini. Sprinkle a little with salt and leave for about half an hour. At the end of this time, rinse the salt with water.
- Cut the onions into half rings.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the chopped onions in it for several minutes. Then add the egg cubes and zucchini cubes there. Cook until they become golden. After that, add the garlic.
- Prepare the kazanok. In it, put the vegetables out of the frying pan and sprinkle them with sugar. Then pour the lemon juice.
- Remove the skin with a tomato with boiling water: put in a cool boiling water for three minutes, then cool in cold water.
- Cut the tomato into large enough pieces and put it in the kozanok.
- Add wine and spices.
- Stew ratatuy about half an hour, closing the lid. At the end, mash the finely chopped greens and mix.
Before serving, sprinkle the dish with finely chopped herbs.
The celebratory celebratory pie
What a feast without a delicious dessert? Even in days of fasting you can pamper yourself with a sweet holiday cake, the main thing is to arm yourself with a successful recipe. We want to offer you a recipe for a truly original dish - sesame-orange pie, from which your guests will be delighted.
Ingredients for the dough:
- Two oranges
- One third of a glass of sesame oil (can be replaced with vegetable oil)
- Two thirds of a glass of sugar
- Some dried fruits: dried apricots, raisins
- Two glasses of flour
- Packing of vanillin
- A half teaspoon of soda poured with lemon juice
Glaze:
- Juice of one orange
- One spoonful of honey
- Three tablespoons of powdered sugar
- Two spoons of sesame seeds
The cooking process is simple, but involves many different operations, so be careful.
- Squeeze out the juice from the oranges. In total for the test you will need 150 g. Pull out the pulp from them.
- Mix the pulp with vegetable oil and sugar. Beat with a blender.
- Add the juice to the mixture and stir.
- Cut the dried fruits into cubes and also add to the mixture. There, pour in the flour, put out the soda and mix it well until smooth.
- Turn on the oven and heat up to 200 degrees.
- Spread in the form of bake for 40 minutes.
While the cake is cooling, prepare the icing. To do this, squeeze out the juice from one orange and add to it a tablespoon of honey (it can be replaced with sugar syrup, but still honey is better) and three tablespoons of powdered sugar. Cook it all on a small fire, stirring constantly. The glaze should become dense and stretch. Slightly cool and cover the cake. Sprinkle with sesame and serve.
