Stew of vegetables with chicken This is what I love vegetable stews, so it's for their versatility! And even without meat, a mixture of vegetables stewed in its own juice or in any sauce (tomato or sour cream) is always excellent, with meat it turns out perfectly doubly. Although this dish is exclusive to everyday cuisine, but believe me, on a festive table, cabbage stewed in tomato sauce, with green peas, potatoes and chicken meat as a side dish or a second dish - quite adequately replace the usual mashed potatoes.
Ingredients:- Chicken drumstick 1 pc.
- Salt 1.5 tsp.
- Refined Sunflower Oil 120 ml
- Frozen peas 160 g
- Tomato paste 70g
- Pepper black with peas 6 pcs.
- Bay leaf 1 pc.
- Carrot 1 pc.
- Garlic 1 clove
- Onion purple 1 pc.
- Potatoes 3 pcs.
- White cabbage 0.5 pcs.
- Water boiled 200 ml
- Step 1 For the preparation of vegetable stew with this recipe, we need the following products: potato (I have a large one), chicken leg, onion, garlic, cabbage, green peas frozen, tomato paste, carrots, bay leaf, sunflower oil refined, salt, black peppercorns, water boiled.
- Step 2 The potatoes are cleaned and cut into medium sized pieces.
- Step 3 Defrost peas (conveniently and quickly it can be done in a microwave oven), we clean onions and carrots, cut vegetables with small cubes.
- Step 4 We spread the tomato paste with warm boiled water.
- Step 5 With the chicken thigh cut the meat, lightly fry it together with pieces of potatoes on sunflower refined oil.
- Step 6 Add the green peas, onions and carrots to the pan.
- Step 7 Stir and fry over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
- Step 8 Add the shredded white cabbage.
- Step 9 We stir, salt and fry another 5 minutes.
- Step 10 Transfer the contents of the frying pan into a baking dish (suitable for microwave cooking). Add the black ground pepper peas, pour the diluted tomato paste, mix, cover and cook in a microwave oven at a power of 800 watts for 15 minutes. Then we take out the stew, mix it, cover it again and cook another 10 minutes at a power of 600 watts.
- Step 11 After the time of cooking add the crushed garlic and bay leaf to the stew, mix and leave the stew in the microwave oven for 5 minutes without covering the lid. We serve the dish to the table portion, in hot form, decorating with greens!
