Kiwis should be peeled. cut lengthwise into four parts. and then on thin slices. Gooseberries to sort out. wash, remove stems and inflorescences. With a lemon peel off the grated zest. from the pulp to squeeze the juice. Add the juice to the gooseberry, using a blender to make the mashed berries. Wipe the mashed potatoes through a sieve to remove the seeds. Mix the resulting mashed potatoes with kiwi slices, lemon zest and sugar. Pour into a deep frying pan, put on fire and bring to a boil. stirring constantly. Reduce heat and cook. until the volume is reduced by a factor of 2. Then remove from heat and pour over sterilized jars. Close the lid. Store in a dark cool place. Mix the resulting mashed potatoes with kiwi slices, lemon zest and sugar.
