- pounds of chicken wings - 5 pieces
- salt - 1 st. a spoon
- garlic powder - 2 items. spoons
- Onion powder - 2 items. spoons
- ground black pepper - 2 Art. spoons
- glutamate sodium (MSG or Accent taste enhancer) (optional) - 1 st. a spoon
- finished mustard - 3 Art. spoons
- flour - 3 Cups
- cooking oils - 1 liter
Season chicken wings on both sides with salt, garlic powder, onion powder and pepper. Cover each slice with a thin layer of mustard. You can do this with a brush or with your fingers. Put the flour in a plastic bag, add the chicken and shake to cover it with flour. Heat the oil in a deep fryer or deep heavy frying pan to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C). When the oil is hot, add chicken and cook for about 6 minutes on each side, or until clear juice flows. Drain on paper towels, and refrigerate about 5 minutes before serving.
