Peel and cut the sweet potatoes. In a large frying pan heat the oil over medium heat. Add sweet potatoes, fry, stirring until the potatoes begin to acquire a brown color, 2 minutes. Add broth, brown sugar and lime juice, season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and cook until done, 10 minutes. Remove the lid and cook over medium heat until the potatoes become soft and the liquid thick, from 7 to 9 minutes. You should have only a small amount of liquid in the pan. Reposition the frying pan from the heat, add the butter and mix. Season with salt, pepper and serve.
