Gouges - French pastries Gouges (French gougres) - unsweetened baked pastry with cheese, native to France, or to be more precise, from Burgundy. But believe me, such a modest definition will not be given by the delicate crunch and flavor of cheese in a bun. Initially, gushers were served as a snack when tasting wine. Now gouges are so popular that they can be found at any banquet or just a family dinner. In fact, gushers can be an aperitif, a great snack, and in combination with a salad, they can easily replace dinner, and such buns will be appropriate on the outing. The shape and size of the jugs will depend on how you want to serve them: either individual snack buns or one large pie, in the form of a ring, called the French - couronne (crown or wreath). Regardless of what form you choose, the recipe will be simple and original: brewed dough and cheese, optimally not greasy (like Parmesan). Impressed? While there is an opportunity to warm in the warm autumn sun, do not waste time, bake a nice and light snack and go on a picnic.
