Great yogi of ancient India

A spacious living room, lots of sunlight, flowers and ... people. They fuss, talk and wait for their guru, the great yoga teacher Pilot Babu - to listen, learn, ask advice. I'm waiting for me, thinking about what to ask such a person. Not being a fan of yoga, on the eve of a meeting with a guru, I "settled" on the Internet in search of information about him. Also has learned here that. Well, it fully corresponded to my ideas about the face of the master of the great science - long hair, dark skin, red chiton and a lot of silver ornaments. At the sight of the guru, the faces of those present reverently shone. We were introduced, we settled down comfortably, and I began to attack Pilot Baba with questions.
Babaji, lately yoga and a variety of oriental practices have become very popular.

What do you think, what is the reason for this? Yoga - a great method for opening the heart, the secrets of our inner world, the science of self-realization and enlightenment. It can change everything in this world for the better. But today yoga has become, above all, the subject of physical recovery, practiced in fitness centers and beauty salons. After all, many modern people are fixated on the body, its beauty and perfection. For them, yoga is a way to become more beautiful physically.
Can yoga benefit, if used, only its physical aspect?
This is useful for appearance, but destructive for the inner world, because too much effort is spent on the outside and, not a drop on the inner, on the development of the soul. An attractive body, but a poor mind - it's pointless. If you use yoga for the soul and inner growth, then everything will be fine for you. Do not get bad thoughts, do not destroy yourself, live in peace with your loved ones.

Are you not upset by the consumer attitude to the ancient science?
Modern science completely does not pay attention to the true self, the soul. Therefore, yoga has become a big business that brings money. Practices without observing the basic spiritual principles (pit and piama) will not succeed, only anxiety and trouble. But soon everything will change. For another decade, ten lzheoga will flourish in the world, and then it will burst like a soap bubble. Then the real one will be perceived as it should - as the science of enlightenment only for its true adherents.
It is very difficult to combine the rhythm of life in a big city with practices. How should one do what strives to know the true yoga?
It's possible. All the great yogis of the past did exactly this: they had families, children, everyday worries, but they remained wise and practiced yoga. Today we are trapped by a lot of restrictions and conventions, fussing around, spending a lot of energy on empty things. But everything is simple - there is truth, only it is constant in this world, only it is very simple and very beautiful. To achieve it, you do not need to be afraid, but to renounce unnecessary attachments, to live more easily, freer, more consciously.

And what is awareness?
This is a beautiful condition, the highest technique, which allows you to understand who you are, where in fact. To live in awareness is to live without attachments. This is not a law, it is a nature, a real freedom. It's like rivers that flow along the earth, and the earth does not worry that they are flowing along it. Or if you are in love for real, you love not the body, not the thoughts, not the words. You do not think about how your beloved says how he looks. You just love. Although now all love ends in a relationship of body and mind. True awareness comes only to those who turn to real yoga, engaged in spiritual practices. Then comes a great understanding, which we call enlightenment.
How to come to this state? Through meditation?
I believe that in Yoga there are three main things that you need to achieve - concentration, meditation and samadhi. Concentration is action, change, and meditation is relaxation, total idleness. Concentrations you can achieve intentionally, meditation - no, it happens on its own. But you always need to start from the first - on anything, any process. Just become what you want to do, give yourself up completely, be able to "here and now". Also, at first it is important to practice asanas, pranayama, pratyaharu.

And what does this mean?
According to ayurveda, from all three energies - kapha, cotton wool, pita - everything is created: people, animals, earth, water, plants, human body. Freedom, peace, health, positive thinking are possible when the energies are balanced. Yoga helps them balance. Through pratyaharu - a distraction from the influence of the external world around us and our inner experiences - we purify the senses.
Asanas (yoga postures) are practiced for the health of the body. Pranayama (respiratory) - for vital energy. But the world around us, and our minds are very volatile, constantly fluctuate. If you want a perfect body and a perfect mind, discipline yourself. For example, practice the discipline of love and sex. This is a whole system, according to which, depending on the time of the year, the positions of the planets, the phases of the magnifier can indulge or refrain from intimacy. So you can conceive and give birth to beautiful, healthy, talented children. In addition, everyone should become a healthy egoist. This does not mean that you have to think only of yourself. You do not have to scatter, waste your efforts in vain. It is important to pay attention to only one case. When you achieve success in your business - you open up to everything, after which you can succeed in anything.

Is it possible to change destiny?
We can change everything. In fact, in Hinduism, karma is nothing more than work, your activity at the moment. Distinguish the accumulated karma - what we did, and the current one - what we do at this time. The latter is very powerful, you can change your destiny through it. Yoga works with it.
And the past, the accumulated karma can influence us?
Accumulated - this is the foundation, without which the house can not stand. But you can destroy this foundation and create a new one through current karma or work.
We often say: "A man pays for the sins of his parents." If the ancestors did something wrong, could this affect the descendants?

In Hinduism, karma is nothing more than work.
Everything that happens has a cause, there are no accidents. Everything in this world has its own plan, its development, connected with our actions. Even the fact that we are just sitting and talking now matters, remains in subtle matter. Therefore, responsibility for everything that happens in our world lies with us. Inside everyone is hidden a very powerful fire, which you only need to open and use for positive changes.

Our physical illnesses also speak about our mistakes and misconduct?
There are energies of acceptance and bestowal. They always work - you accept, and you give. Each of us has a certain number of abilities. Modern life forces the ingot to use them quickly, to expend a lot of energy. As a result, a person dies much earlier than he is supposed to. Unhealthy society, work, actions, way of thinking destroy health. Even without doing anything wrong, just listening and watching the negative, we become the target of destructive forces.
How can we defend ourselves against the aggression of the modern world?
For this, there is yoga - to live better, with a healthy body and healthy thinking, without fear of anything. Live as you want, choose your path. One of the sections of yoga teaches us to live for as long as we want. If yogis do not want to die, they do not die.

Is this the basis for your rejuvenation system?
Many centuries there is a culture of Himalayan yogis - ancient knowledge and practices for rejuvenating the body, longevity, the full realization of its capabilities. They passed from teacher to student. Some medicines of this system are prepared for 20-25 years - plants are collected, drugs are prepared, placed in a special place with certain conditions, so that the medicines will work later. In addition to potions, it is also a system of asanas, respiratory practices, knowledge of Ayurveda.
Babaji, everyone comes for advice to you, and to whom do you address, when you need help?
I just close my eyes and any answer comes to me. The human mind is very powerful, the main thing is not to confuse it with vanity and understand that within us is perfection.
