For the preparation of this jam, you can take plums of any sort. Jam from plum turns out very fragrant, with pleasant sour-sweet taste. Preparation: Rinse and rinse the sink. If you are cooking jam with bones, you need to prick or cut the skin of the sink, so that it does not burst during cooking. Boil syrup from water and sugar. If you want, in the jam you can add 1-2 cinnamon sticks and 3-4 pieces of cloves for spice and piquancy. Pour the prepared sugar syrup over the sink and let stand for 8 hours. Then bring to a boil and cook, stirring constantly, about 10 minutes. Remove jam from the stove and let stand for 8 hours. Thus, cook the jam in 4 stages, alternating heating and cooling for 8 hours. Thanks to this, the plums do not degrade, and the jam will be transparent. Ready jam should be thick. Pour the jam over sterilized jars, cover with foil, then cover. Allow to cool and store in a cool dark place.
