Our family does not adhere to the post (not from the principle, but simply somehow so it was that we did not fast). Nevertheless, one day I quite accidentally discovered somewhere a recipe for lean muffins, tried to cook - and did not lose. Lenten muffins turned out amazing, in my opinion they are even tastier and more original than usual. I tell you how to prepare a lean muffin at home in literally two counts: 1. Sifted flour mixed with other dry ingredients - cinnamon, sugar and salt. 2. Add the jam to the dry mix. Jam can be used by anyone, and instead of it it is permissible to use thick jam (for example, plum). 3. Add water and oil to the mixture, mix thoroughly. 4. Add the baking powder and, if desired, nuts or dried fruits. Again thoroughly we mix. 5. The resultant dough is laid out on the cake molds, we put them on a baking tray. We put the baking tray in the oven, heated to 180 degrees, and bake until ready - 25-30 minutes, depending on the size of the cupcakes. Finished lean muffins cool on the grill and serve. It is best to eat them fresh, but they are also kept well. Bon Appetit! ;)
