"Moutarde" - sauce from France Mustard sauce "Moutarde" - one of the classic and very famous French sauces. This sauce is most often served with white meat and vegetables. The sauce has a very pleasant, rich taste and aroma. The taste is very complex. Good notes of mustard, taste of onion, the smell of greens. You will also like the dense consistency of the sauce!
Ingredients:- Shallot 50 g
- Mustard 1 tsp.
- White wine vinegar 7 ml
- Sour cream 3 tbsp. l.
- Butter 20 g
- Milk 30 ml
- Salt 1 pinch
- Pepper black ground 1 pinch
- Parsley fresh 15 g
- Step 1 To make mustard sauce we need shallots (can be replaced with onions), mustard, sour cream, milk, salt, pepper, vinegar, oil, parsley.
- Step 2 Cut the onion into a cube, add the butter and fry until golden.
- Step 3 Add mustard and vinegar.
- Step 4 Add the sour cream.
- Step 5 Add salt and pepper.
- Step 6 Add milk and boil all 2 minutes.
- Step 7 At the end, add the greens.
